Musa'lims submit to God, Kaaba'Lah, Lord of of the Universe, Mecca Kaaba'Lah! Your are not a Mus'lim since you haven't accepted the Qur'an as word of God and thats why you JEWS not allowed in Mecca Kaaba'Lah since you don't accept Muhammad and Jesus as believersof God!

This very legacy Abraham left to his children, and so did Jacob, saying, “O My children! Indeed, God has chosen for you the Way of Life. Therefore, let not death overtake you except that you are Muslimoon” (Muslims = Submitters to God alone, guardians of peace. 2:236, 22:78You claim that Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and the tribal Israelite Prophets were ‘Jews’ or ‘Christians’! Say, “Do you know better than God?” Ah, who could be more unjust than those who conceal the testimony they have from God? But God is not unaware of what you do.This very legacy Abraham left to his children, and so did Jacob, saying, “O My children! Indeed, God has chosen for you the Way of Life. Therefore, let not death overtake you except that you are Muslimoon” (Muslims = Submitters to God alone, guardians of peace. 2:236, 22:78).They say, “Be Jews or Christians, then you will be guided.” Say, “Nay! Ours is the Creed of Abraham the upright. He turned away from all that is false, and he was not an idolater in any sense.”
      136
(O You who have chosen to believe) Say, “We believe in God, and the revelation that has been given to us, and (the surviving truth) in what was sent down to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, as well as the Tribal Israelite Prophets and in what was given to Moses and Jesus and to all Prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction among them (since all of them were one in purpose and they got their guidance from the One True God). And for Him, we are Muslimoon” (Muslims, submitters to God alone, guardians of peace. 2:132, 22:78).111
And they (- the Jews and the Christians) say (respectively about themselves), `None shall ever enter Paradise unless he be a Jew or a Christian.´ These are their wishful beliefs. Say, `Bring forth your vivid proof (of what you state) if you are right.´
      112
The truth of the matter is, whosoever submits himself entirely to Allâh and he is a doer of good to others shall have his reward with his Lord. They shall have nothing to fear and nothing to grieve at.
      113
The Jews say, `The Christians have no valid ground whatsoever (for their belief),´ while the Christians assert, `The Jews have no valid ground (at all for their belief),´ while they both read the same Scripture. Exactly such (ill-founded) things say those who have no knowledge. But Allâh shall judge between them on the Day of Resurrection with regard to all that about which they had been disagreeing.
      114
And who can be more unjust than those who prohibit the name of Allâh from being extolled in (any of His) houses of worship and strive to ruin them. It was not proper for such, ever to enter these (places) except in fear and awe. For them is disgrace in this world, and there awaits them a severe punishment in the Hereafter.
      115
And to Allâh belongs the east and the west; so whichsoever way you may turn (you will find) there is Allâh´s attention. Surely, Allâh is All-Pervading, All-Knowing.
      116
Moreover they (- the unjust people) say, `Allâh has taken (to Himself) a son.´ Glory be to Him. Rather, all that is in the heavens and the earth, belongs to Him. All are obedient to Him.
      117
(God is) the Wonderful Originator without depending upon any matter or pattern of the heavens and the earth; and when He issues a decree He does but say to it, `Be´ and it comes to be.
      118
And those who do not know (the wisdom implied in Divine revelation) say, `Why does not Allâh (Himself) speak to us or give us a (convincing) sign?´ That is exactly what their predecessors had said. Their hearts have become very much alike. We have certainly made (Our) signs explicitly clear for a people who wish to be convinced.
      119
Verily, We have sent you to serve all their requirements, as a Bearer of good tidings and a Warner, and you will not be called upon to account for the inmates of the flaming Fire.
      120
And the Jews will never be pleased with you nor the Christians unless you follow their creed. Say, `Allâh´s guidance is the only perfect and true guidance.´ If you were to follow their low desires after there has come to you this perfect knowledge, you shall have from Allâh neither a protecting friend, nor any helper.
      121
They (- the true Muslims), to whom We have given the Book, follow it as it deserves to be followed. It is they who truly believe in it. And whoso does not believe therein, these are they who are the utter losers.
      122
O children of Israel! remember My favour which I conferred upon you, and that I exalted you above all your contemporaries.
      123
And guard (yourselves) against (the agony of) the day when no being shall avail another in anyway nor any compensation be accepted on anyone´s behalf, nor any intercession shall be profitable to anyone nor they shall be helped.
      124
(Recall) when his Lord put Abraham to test with certain commandments, so he carried them out. (God) said, `Verily, I will make you an Imâm (- a religious leader) for the good of the people.´ (Abraham) said (inquiringly), `And from among my progeny (too, do You promise to raise leaders)?´ (God) said, `(Yes, but) My (this) covenant does not embrace the wrongdoers.´
      125
And when We made the House (- the Ka`bah at Makkah) a frequent resort for mankind and (a place of) peace and security, and (We commanded), `Take to yourselves the place of Abraham (- the Ka`bah) for a centre (and face towards it) during Prayer.´ And We enjoined Abraham and Ismâîl, `Purify and clean My House for those who perform the circuit (around it) and those who cleave to it for devotion and for those who bow down (before Allâh) and prostrate (to Him in Prayer).´

Praise Gpd for His mercy and grace to save a sinner like me and countless others from precisely this place described in Jonahs story. One of the beauties of this, outside of salvation itself, is being able to discern the possibility of the same for others who can't see as clearly the great mercy of Him in the story. The outcome has been so profound and so deep I couldn't possibly convey it here in a paragraph, but I am granted daily the opportunity to share it with others. What a blessing! What a glorious God who loves us immensely.

The poem contained within Jonah applies to his story, but it also applies to Jesus’ experience and could be spoken by Him, even the crown of thorns is pictured in the “head wrapped in seaweed” verse.

These teachings are absolutely phenomenal thank you all so much for your assistance and helping with the understanding. The last two years I have been following Tim on the Bible project and it has helped shape me into the man of God I am today. Praising God for Door of Hope you all and Pastor Tim. Keep up the amazing work in Christ I love you all and look forward to what is to come. Sharing every bit of what I am able to get my hands on in essence to the teachings you all share on UA-cam. Whatever I learn I give back to the community through social media Outlets like Facebook and my UA-cam channel as well. I cannot thank you all enough and praise God for the wonderful things he is doing around the world with you and the church.💗🕊

Currently in this dark, belly place. I don’t understand why, I’m exhausted from its 14 year long stretch, I haven’t the resources, but also haven’t the shame to cry out to the Lord for help. This series is reminding me to remain hopeful as things just seem to have gone to an all time low. Grateful for this teaching.

You claim that Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and the tribal Israelite Prophets were ‘Jews’ or ‘Christians’! 2:236, 22:78).Remember, We appointed the House (Ka’bah) a means to achieve unity among all mankind, and thus, a source of peace and security. So, attain the stature of Abraham recalling his firm stand (for Monotheism) and closely follow the Divine Commands. We did take a Covenant from Abraham and Ishmael, “Keep My House clean of all falsehood for those who rally around it and those who strive hard for the noble objectives, and for those who submit in humility to the Divine Commands."
      126
And Abraham prayed, “My Lord! Make this land a haven of peace and security, and provide its residents with plentiful sustenance; those who believe in God and the Last Day.” He answered, “I will also provide for those who disbelieve and let them enjoy for a short while, then I will commit them to the suffering of the fire, a miserable destiny!”
      127
As Abraham raised the foundations of the House together with Ishmael, they prayed earnestly, “Our Lord! Accept this (service) from us. You are the Hearer, Knower.”
      128
“Our Lord! Make both of us submissive to You and of our descendants, let there be a community submissive to You. Show us the best ways to serve You and enable us to make amends. You are the Absolver of imperfections, the Merciful.Musa'lims submit to God, Kaaba'Lah, Lord of of the Universe, Mecca Kaaba'Lah! Your are not a Mus'lim since you haven't accepted the Qur'an as word of God and thats why you JEWS not allowed in Mecca Kaaba'Lah since you don't accept Muhammad and Jesus as believersof God!

Mankind are a single community (but they differed), so Allâh raised (His) Prophets as Bearers of good tidings and as Warners, and with them He revealed the Scriptures containing the truth, that He might judge between various people concerning all their mutual differences. But none differed therein except the very (astray) whom it (- the Scripture) had been given, and (they differed only) after clear proofs had come to them, out of spite against one another. Now Allâh guided those who believed, by His leave, to the truth concerning which they (- the disbelievers) had differed. And Allâh guides whosoever wishes (to be guided) to the right and straight path.

Tim, I have to thank you for your works and your yearning to teach the masses in the ruakh Elohim. Not for any particular video/podcast, neither for this one. And I only say this because you have given a plethora of wisdom into the word of Yahweh, and no one teaching could suffice the truth of the word. Your ongoing push, along with the wonderful people of The Bible Project have given so much insight and unveiling to the world. And I should've done this so long ago when I watched your sermon of Yeshua and sexual desire( btw Yeshua's thought process is amazing, please do more on his polar teachings), but only now I have the yearning to tell my love of your work in progressing the bride of Messiah. When I can I want to fund The Bible Project and finally get my hands on a poster book of the Bible. Idk how you feel about what you're doing, but the view count keeps growing, and you've aided me in my search for Yahweh exponentially, I see that you're excited and this is your passion. So no matter what happens in your journey , I hope that you press on and continue your work for the most high.
Btw thank you so much for helping me find a proper Hebrew Bible, I very much enjoy deciphering the English text into it's true Hebrew meaning, along with the textual criticism with it. Is it weird to want to go to your very school and study under the same teachers ? I live far from where you do, yet I would trade it all to do as you do. Your work inspires me throughout the years I've been reading and watching your videos. I only hope to be doing what you are doing soon, after educating myself of course. Shabbat shalom ravi. :)

It seems to me the more I listen to the various series that Tim and his group have done, that all of these stories have common threads in learning the Way of the Lord which is order versus Chaos in many different forms. In the case of Jonah the conflict with the Fish is a double metaphor. The first aspect being chaos in the form of Nature (the fish) has engulfed him because his lack of focus and diligence has lead his to the abyss. The second metaphor is futuristic in that the Fish is the symbol of Jesus Christ and it is in being engulfed in Christ that Jonah finds the error of his ways and a path to redemption. It is a story of resurrection from self imposed destruction that paves the way to understand Christs 3 days in the tomb just like Jonahs 3 days in the whale. In both cases it is man who is redeemed and the narrow path revealed.

I would take the view of Jewish professors on this and add to the fact that Jesus referred to Jonah as a real person and specifically the three days in the belly of the whale and does not indicate in anyway that this was a parable. The belief being and apparently according to Hebrew construct that Jonah died in the whale,. His return to life on being vomited out after 3 days matches Jesus referring to this incident in references to his own resurrection. As with everything biblical it all fits together into a bigger whole pointing to Jesus.
