    For a beginner, what airbrush would you recommend to purchase (that's possibly inexpensive)? I would be looking for an airbrush kit that would have casual use. I would want it to make shirts every once in a while (when the mood strikes, lol). Also... have you tried using photochromic pigments in your airbrushing before?

    • @CrazyDancerChick25

      Also... for the Hardboards. How would I figure out what size to get Hardboards cut down to for a 2XL and Medium size tshirt?

      I recommend an Iwata airbrush. I forget which model they are but they are sold at hobby lobby (well where i live lol). Its about 120-180$ but it is definitely well worth the price. I used them when i had a custom airbrush class and they worked super killer

    • @yxngtxmmyclippin6959
      @yxngtxmmyclippin6959 2 роки тому

      Taking it apart and cleaning it might be a challenge because unlike the Iwata spray guns, the airbrush has a ton of small parts that if you lose one part then you’re screwed

      Yes a heat gun or blow dryer will work just as well. People like to use the press cause its easier to set the temp and you can get everything at once. But heat gun or blow dryer will do the same thing at a fraction of the cost

    I’m a tattoo artist that wants to learn to airbrush. I bought a iwata ninja jet compressor. I want to airbrush my brothers race truck. That’s his baby so I’m worried. Of course I’m going to practice some but I’m scared I’m not even going to lie. What airbrush should I order. It looks like I’m not going to use many lines. Do you have a dvd on how to airbrush for dummies. I’m on a budget. What is a good paint for metal. Do I have to primer? Man I’m stuck. How much are skull patterns? Help guys please. My brother will hurt me if I mess his truck up! Lol

    dope video man, just curious: do u think doing shirts on a mannequin torso would work good/help at all (like doing the sleeves or collar area) just an idea i thought of while watching this. or would it not work good because the shirt isnt held in place & not having the fabric stretched flat to work on as a canvas?
