When you are instructing, it’s easily understood using good English ‘if you know what I mean.’ Kids in the community listen and learn. Your dress style is the first thing they see and their attention is caught right away because they see that style everyday. Gives off a sense of togetherness. They just have to be stopped not to go above and beyond by keeping them interested and busy with creations. You share your skills with old men like me (69 😉) and with those youngsters that need good influences like you. An good artist. You instruct well. Like I said, your freehand is scary good. Keep it up.

This is the only video that shows techniques on practicing how to aim your paint in the correct places, how to ratio your paint to air for your desired line thickness, shading, just everything. Everything else I've watched is just somebody laying down paint with the airbrush leaving you to have to figure out the rest. Thank you for this!!!

Great work, thanks for the in depth tutorial. I just started using airbrush as an hobby and to paint RC cars, wanted to do some t-shirts of my own designs. In the beginning i must have watch at least 2 dozen videos on drills but by far yours was the most informative, the way you explain how far your finger it to the sway of the brush... thanks

What types of paint is best to use on different items such as a T shirt, or a motorcycle tank that will later be clear coated,, or anything that gonna be clear coated, some paints wrinkle if you put a clear coat over it, such as one shot lettering paint, what is the best to airbrush a motorcycle that's obviously gonna be clear coated,,,same thing on taxidermy projects, what's the best paint for certain projects ?

@@airbrushdudetv thats because the hard surface cant absorb the paint sometimes causing the paint to spread like a spider web effect. Try lowiering pressure when painting on hard surfaces.

I noticed on the shirts that the outline of the image is sketched on it how do we do about the should we just attempt to freehand it onto the canvas or print a stencil or ? I suck at freehanding an already existing image and it coming out looking the same haha. I Def subd also cause I learned more from you than anybody else

Yes @lolostylz is correct and i would also turn the shirt inside out when washing. That way the metal grid walls on the washing machine won't scratch your artwork. I also use a matte clear coat from Createx after i paint shirt to add more protection from fading.
DID YOU KNOW? The famous American artist Normal Rockwell who painted many scenes of "Americana" used a projector to transfer images onto his canvases. His projector is covered over with a sheet in the museum which bears his name. Why? Because of the fear that some people would think its "cheating" to trace an image.
Had a couple questions is it best to be right handed when air brushing or can u be left handed an do the same thing just opposite or do I need to train my brain to use my right hand when using my equipment my dominate hand is my left an don't have very good control with my right if u can explain or make a video of excersize or something that we ould help me figure out how to work with my air. Rush would be greatly appreciated

Actually i started with no art skills at all bro at the age of 21. Thats why i show the projector in this video; it can help people with the drawings and after tracing over enough images your hand's muscle memory will help you develop drawing skills.
I'll touch more on this subject in another video,I'm not saying you can't do it an the definition of "learning to Airbrush" has a different meaning for everyone.But I actually was referring to freehand skills without using stencils and projectors and tracing.Which theres nothing wrong with.
All good, but Most Airbrush peeps these days rely on stencils and tracing and have no drawing skills which is fine but if you want to build dense muscle I strongly believe a solid drawing background cant hurt.I ll def elaborate more in another video and think you'll know where I'm coming from.

I use Createx paints they actually have great selection of various paints for the the item your painting on.

You can attempt to freehand then correct while painting or you also could use a projector.

He's using Createx paints which can be "set" with a hot iron or press and after that can be washed in cold water.

I tried airbrush its great but on black tshirt I get a really fuzzy course finish :( how should I prep shirt before paint?
Put it under a heat press before you paint it. Probably a good idea when you use any dark color.
Base the shirt with white first then heat press it for about 20 secs at 370 degrees. Hope this help

No you can use your dominate hand it doesn't matter when it comes to airbrushing its just like drawing with a pencil.

Whats the dimension of the masonite board you use?
It's funny because i don't actually have a set dimension because different shirt brand fits the different boards. I will measure the ones i have and get back to you.
