I am ashamed to admit that I put off watching this one, thinking, "Na, I don't need to see that right now; I won't go to one of those..." Then, - *sigh* -as the video finished, I literally, said out loud, "That was awesome!" Now I want to go to one! Or many! I think the pandemic has dampened some of my extroverted, adventurous spirit! Thank you, Josh, for helping me see that! It looks like so much fun!
You make me smile (and laugh). Enjoyed running around with you at the event. Now I really look forward to my first big event. Thanks for sharing & making geocaching extra fun.
I've been having such bad luck with Snag The Tag lately, then I found a Dark Templar pretty near home! They don't pop as often here in St Paul as they do on the coasts. Thanks for getting me into it and keeping me into geocaching, Josh!
😄 and the crowd goes wild 😁 We are going to have an event in an amusement park/ roller coaster park in the Netherlands next year (Geodoorn). I feel ready now, thanks. Logging in a roller coaster sounds fun 😉
I got tired watching you do everything. Looks like it was a great event. I was sad to have had to miss this event because BIGFOOT is my favorite mythological creature. I still have a Community Event sitting in my account, which gives me an idea to use the BIG GUY as its theme.
Think of all us Covid-Cachers. I agreed to help out a cache owner with his caches not knowing much about geocaching. From May until Christmas Day, I met two other cachers- both cache owners. One was in his front yard, where the cache was. The other was when I was reporting a damaged cache and he showed up while I was still texting. It is getting better but events are. Really important.
The whole city is filled with caches. The geocaching HQ radius says caches need to be .1 miles apart. For the Geotour is was a nice walk with no car. The race the 30 caches were spread all over one park. The adventure lab caches were in sets of 10 all over town. Hope this helps.
You have a geochashe video on TikTok that is the shed with the possum and the fake gold. We are on a road trip rn and will be in Iowa in a few days. we want to know there it is. Or if you have any other ones that are cool please recommend. Please respond
Went to my first Mega in Mount Vernon Ohio June 5th. Wasn't sure what to expect. I'm going to the Mega GC88QKK in Wauseon, Ohio in July. Will you be there?
The Geowoodstock is there this year! We have not been to any event at all actually, and are kind of clueless as to what to do or how, etc lol! Also, I think im the one most excited about geocaching and not sure the kids/family will get into it very much. Any tips on what can entice them to have fun?! 😅
I will be going to Geowoodstock as well. It really depends on the age of the kids. If the kids are older and have phones I would let them have their own account to so they can search as well. With little ones I would always bribe them with the treat after our geocaching adventures. ;-)
@The Geocaching Vlogger Thanks for the reply! I might be able to get them excited about finding you - they know your videos! 😁 But the bribes of treats is a great idea! - we'll try that and see 🤣🤞
I so wanted to go to MOGA. I have three Megas planned, one of which was last weekend. I'm glad Megas are back
You are the coolest geocacher in the world in my books!
that's for shour oh ya and I am 100% your friend because no one's more awesome then you! ;)
😎 😃
@@TheGeocachingVlogger Your awesome dude!

Megas are one of my favorite things about geocaching. :-)

Looks like a fun event! Thanks for taking us!

I love your shoes. They remind me of bowling shoes. Great viddy Joshua!

🎢 yeeeeeessssssssssssss!
Saw myself 🤣😂🤣 such a fun event!!
Great tips on how to get the most out of a mega event!

This event was unique in that it took advantage of the full Memorial Day weekend. Events Friday-Monday
Awesome video! I loved the editing style! Great to have Munzeed and cached with ya!
Thanks for joining me!
Dude that was a great video! Very well thought out. The little girl was so cute. Lots going on at MOGA!
Really miss events! Sadly, no chance to have one around here in Spain just yet 😔
Such a great Mega event, This was so much fun. I have FOMO just by watching this.
The edit on this video was top notch!
Great tips! Nice to see Carson doing MUNZEE too. Thanks!
Thanks for the tips and info, I have never been to any geocaching event. I haven’t even met another geocacher outside the UA-cam world lol
You should check an event out if you get the chance.
@@TheGeocachingVlogger I really want to, I would like to meet real life cachers

Congratulations on your 2nd place, Josh!
Thank you!!!
Great video. I would love to get to a MOGA. Well done on another win
🥈😀😀😀😀
Georgia agri geotrail is in September. They have the cutest barn geocoin!
Sounds like fun!
Love your video... Thank you ! 😘
Lucky you! We still are not authorized to create events here
I'm curious what the radius (miles) is of caches at big events like this. How much driving do you do over several days?

Vlogging your way to 2nd place... Will the skills you possess ever end?
P.S. Great job on the production and the editing.
Seemyshell helped me with the edit on this one.

Awesome! It is in Pella IA. Search for the high favorites in that town. 👍👍

Not sure I’ll be at the Geobash this year.

Did the MOGA Hosts place the Munzees or did the the Munzee Team or a player hide them?
Munzee event was put in by other Munzee players. It wasn’t associated with MOGA.
Hier mag een event nog steeds niet!! 😭😭😭
new guide to make friens give the coins
I just bought those shoes. Then I had to return them for being too narrow.
I love them, however I wish they were black.
Ever been to a Mega, don’t plan to. Standing in line to “find a catch” doesn’t interest me.
That is not my experience at most mega event.
Hmm, might be true at some events with some caches but to with most. Try MOGA and I bet you would enjoy it! :)
