Welcome to Tasmania’s Mountain Biking Paradise! 🚵♂️
In today’s adventure, I’ve journeyed all the way to the beautiful island of Tasmania, with one goal in mind - to conquer some of the world’s most famous mountain biking (MTB) trails!
Join me as I explore the renowned Blue Derby Mountain Bike Park, a public biking haven known for its incredible trails. We’ll be riding the blue trails, taking in the stunning scenery and tackling the challenges that come our way.
Our journey will lead us to Air Ya Garn, a super flow jump line that promises an adrenaline rush like no other. Hold on tight as we navigate this thrilling course!
But the adventure doesn’t stop there. Next, we’ll take on Detonate, one of Derby’s most challenging and unique trails. It’s going to be a ride to remember!
So, strap on your helmets, and let’s hit the trails together in this epic MTB adventure in Tasmania!

@@JohnnyThe_G so, whats ur thoughts on a proper sized MTB?
@@FlowmentumMTB I usually ride a medium, but I’m around 178-180 tall
So idk if I should be on a large. However I feel a smaller sized frame is better for me. I can move around the medium so much easier and manuals are a breeze.
On the large I kept tagging my arse on the tyres and struggling to get the front wheel up
I’ll still go a 29er but probably stick to a size smaller then I “should” ride
@@JohnnyThe_G sorry Johnny thats what I was referring to with the "proper size" was the 29", you would kill it on a proper wheel.
@@FlowmentumMTB ohh yeah, yup the 29er is the gold! love it and it saved me so many times on the rock rolls hahaha
so much faster rolling speed i noticed, didnt effect my jumping,
but i have ridden my 29er xc rig alot on jumps :'D

Hey Johnny loved the video btw, but I was just wondering if you've ever had a rocky mountain thunderbolt medium frame because I recently bought a new bike and the guy said that you had used the exact frame I had. So I figured I'd ask the man himself.

Yes, if you bought it from Trae then that’s correct it was my my old frame, that bike was great! I’m actually thinking about getting another Rocky Mountain for my next rig!
Trae also works in a bike shop so im sure he’s decked it out and has it in top shape for you 👀👌
