@@woutervanteerling it’s pretty cool, fairly unique as well, very rugged raw style trails The flow trail is the only one that’s been machine built, the rest are very raw old school trails 👌 I think it’s worth going man

Agree, best bike park in Aus. Nothing competes to trails they have. it has something for everyone. its a must do if you are in Tas, and a lot more fun then Derby if you had to pick one only.
@@lewisdowling2993 100% agree! I’d also say derby would be more fun for less experienced riders or riders who would prefer a different style of tech trails, e-bikes would be ideal for derby

hey mate, maydena local here, great review thankyou! just wanted to add that there are 3 cafe/restaurants in town now: the bike park, fika cafe (next to the bike park), and a new one opening this season called Maydena Eats (located at Giants Table, next to the oval/train tracks) hope to see you at hardline 🤘🤘

Maydena does not have 1200 metres of vertical elevation. Top to bottom there are about 810 metres of elevation. The start of skyline is at 1090 metres above sea level, and the bottom is at 280 metres above sea level. Great bike park with something for everyone. It is closed during the winter wet season of the year, which runs from July to September.

went there a couple weekends ago…was great to see that general maintenance appears to be a regular thing, trails were 👌…who ever put forward the idea to make rollercat the climbing trail to calibre/highlife etc needs a huge pat on the back…the only critique is that the system is appearing a bit same-same….same berms, same log drop, same jumps on most trails, needs more natural non bermed non jumpy jumps….though the place is what ebikes were made for 3hrs/40km /1300mtrs elv gain
@@H3avyHaul3r I disagree about the same same part, every trail is quite unique in my view, the builders have done a sweet job making the place really diverse, but yeah the hand made trails won’t really be a thing anywhere anymore, they cost far to much time to build vs a machine build trail Thanks for the comment mate glad you had a mint ride 🤙🏻

Not trustworthy. Fully charged mine, put it in my bag, went to use it a month later: dead. Charged it at home: still dead. Emailed the company: might actually be dead because they don’t respond to emails.
@MTBishop really? They are pretty active on instagram 🤷♂️ I charged mine the first day back in May and haven’t charged mine since, still has 1 bar left, Unfortunate you haven’t had any email responses, I’ve had lots of emails with them over the 2 months
yeah I don’t get it. I reeeaaally wanted to like this pump, but first go at trailside use + no feedback from the manufacturers completely killed it for me. I hope to carry one someday though if I know I can count on it. Hopefully yours keeps kicking for you!! 🤞🏼
I live in victoria not far from the dromana bike park. Last year i noticed a parks guy carrying a rather destroyed bike out of the park. Talked to one on the locals a couple of weeks later wondering how the rider was. Turns out is was the park guys bike and he crashed out on the maiden run of a new black run he had designed.

honestly just depends what you want to ride, I dont value them, however that price is very good, the forks and shock are worth that by themselves,, the rest of the bike is pretty average but its still a nice bike, 4500 is a great deal for what youre getting, again it just depends if youll like long geo or not

You can get the same workout benefits from an EMTB as you do from an acoustic, the difference is how much ground you’re going to cover on it. Factors such as which mode and what level you choose will impact that up or down. In the end, it just comes down to preference based on the individual and their riding style and goals. It’s not a zero sum game, no one has to lose in order for the other to win. Again, it comes down to preference and goals. Ride what makes you happy, cheers!
