I hope, I said it before but you're really good at explaining and demonstrating. Hard to stand out in a sea of good, ok and not so good internet golf instruction. Nice insights here as always.
I don't think many folks know the GOLD of what you are describing regarding this right arm/elbow- in while the left arm is straight through impact! I posted this on another channel as he was describing it in a different way, but it's still correct. I can get this move when I feel the move I had while delivering a pitch in baseball as a pitcher. That's right, I was a side-arm pitcher who was practically unhittable because of the accuracy and speed of my pitches. Watch the best side-arm MLB pitchers on videos and you'll get my point. You're alluding to the same move, but for golf.
Very authoritative lesson , as soon as I tried the numb-chuck… I knew this was a feeling I have never even come close to in my swing in the last 50 years… 😀
Thanks for all the great lessons. My handicap has dropped to 7.9 now and I've been cut twice in two weeks after winning back to back competitions at my club. 😊
Thank you ! This is exactly what I (hcp 21) am busy with at the moment but here it is very well explained and the drills will for sure be my new game for a while :-)) someone above asked if it was also good for driver , I guess yes ?? With of course some minor adaptation Have a nice day and again thank you for your excellent videos
Not only shanks but a straightening right arm closes the club face. So you get pull draws, pull hooks and all kinds of fun when you do manage to hit the ball non shanky...
I think recentering the body is huge. And feeling like the handle of the club is by your left pocket. As clubhead is at the ball . From there you just let it fly
I've got the right elbow down this season, but that bend isn't working out. Bad things happen when I bend. Not giving up on it of course, but definitely needs a lot more work.
6mph clubhead speed is massive. But you need to accept, how low you must go through impact. This explains why good ball strikers are so tilted and ams, are making themselves taller through impact!
You are on to something very very important here and as usual explain it brilliantly.
Glad you liked it!
Brilliant tuition......thanks!
You’re so kind for your tutorials. This one is excellent I’ll give it a try. Thanks very much.

These are great drills!
Great Video

that's what i am looking for - a 'holy grail' thing which will put all other things in order - separetely nothing worked. can't wait to try it

Should this be done with the driver too?
And working on impact position drills has helped me so much. Thanks!

Great stuff as usual. Does this apply to the driver as well?
Sure does
I’ve always made a point of trying to straighten my right arm before impact wondering why I shank so often 😅

I solved the right arm straight problem by making sure my butt is in contact with the "wall"
I’ve lost around 30 yards per iron and probably 40+ with driver. Maybe this is the missing sauce
hmm, I think this may be the issue I am having.
😁👍
Thanks bud!
