I'm at The National. It's madness. I've never seen so many people in my life. I've also never encountered so many people who seemingly have never entertained the idea of taking a shower before going in public. Very strange atmosphere to the place. I feel like every other person gives me the "complete scumbag vibes". I've met some cool people and people that I've been in contact with for a long time but never met in person before. It was nice to run into these folks. My wife and I only made it through the first hall and we were exhausted. We're going directly into the second hall tomorrow as soon as the doors open.
@@DanTheCardMan2 There's nowhere near as much soccer as I expected. I've seen some cool cards and a few things that I would like to buy but I expected some dealers to only be dealing soccer & there just aren't any. If I can find anything that might be of interest to you, I'll definitely try to acquire them for you!

Agreed! Last time I was there was way back n '96 . Me & 3 friends were on our way to the Agora to see the band Tool!! Well...we made it to the show... barley! The concert was phenomenal!!! But tbh I don't really remember much of that day due to all the fresh cut Blueberry! I do remember having an ungodly, gut wrenching feeling in my stomach shortly after waking up! That still happens to this day for every pre Tool show we venture to lol. Anyway.. the fn fuel pump went out on the Explorer we were driving, within about a 15 min walk away from the venue! But the thing I remembered the most was leaving the hotel the next morning & walking to some hole in the wall mechanics shop to get the vehicle fixed. The walk was atrocious at best! Saw around 2 dozen people total at 9amish... about a dozen working the corners, a couple tricks, a guy faded out on a bench and like another dozen or so snuggled up real close to the curb of the roads using newspapers & long, beat up pieces of cardboard using them as blankets laying on top of the sewer vents with the most steam pouring out them 😢 _ But the natty looks pretty safe from Google maps pov. But It wouldn't suprise me if a few actuality get mugged. Chances of getting robbed in surrounding areas on av is around 1 in 100 with 2-3 robberies per day?
There's not much there that interests me personally. I'm sure some like it and that's fine but when I go I'm just sort of like "Well I went to the rock n roll HOF, I went to the Christmas Story house and I guess I'm done"

It's gonna cost me $700 just to go for 2 days and I live 4 hrs away from it. Can't imagine if u went the cost?!?!
