Evening, I am in the market for a new/ change of bike. Its between a Honda CB1000R and a Triumph Street Triple.Having owned both now for some time , which do you prefer?
Hiya Jim, Thats a very tricky question as these are two very different bikes. It depends really on what you want from a bike and how you ride. If you are a slower rider and want punch out of a corner, go triple, if you are maybe a faster rider and need more top end grunt, go Honda. You should test ride both if possible. Either bike you're going to be a happy bunny. If I were held at gunpoint I would choose the triumph for the reason of fit and finish. Quality is slightly better on the triumph. Hope this helps.
Fergie Woo interesting, Triumph better quality finish than a Honda, not something one would expect to hear a few years ago! But will a Triumph have better mechanic quality also ? Just curious.
Pretty much sums everything up.
I have the same bike, agree with everything you've said.
Loving it so far!
