Data Roaming in Europe. Don't get caught out !!
A short video explaining the issues I had whilst visiting France.
I thought I would be OK just buying an add on with my provider. Little did I know that the allowance they gave me wouldn't be enough for a Nokia 6210
Just get a data sim in the country you're visiting. Bosh.

GIVI Trekker OutbackTopbox Review
Переглядів 532 місяці тому
This is my review of the GIVI Trekker Outback topbox. Fitting takes approx 30mins with just a few tools. Fitting and removal of the box is super simple with just a slide and click. The one lock does both the lid and locking to the bike. So far it hasn't let any water in but I would suggest it's only going to be water resistant, so for you serious adventurers, get a dry bag to put inside it :)

KTM 1290 Super Adventure S - Scotoiler Installation
Переглядів 1482 місяці тому
This is how and why I fitted the 'E' Scotoiler to my KTM 1290 SAS. This is by no means, the right way, the wrong way, it's just my way. It took me about an hour and a half to fit it, but I didn't mount the controller on the handlebars. This would have probably involved removal of the tank and a load of other faff. It works really well, theres not too much oil thrown up on to the back of the bik...

That trip I promised to take you on. Finally !!!

A liitle trip in to the Yorkshire Dales onboard the KTM Super Adventure S. We went to a place called Brimham Rocks, which is a lovely little National Trust site. Well worth a visit if you have half a day to spare. Apologies for the crackly audio, not sure why this was, but I will try to remedy for next time. Enjoy

Hiya Guys, just a video I wanted to share with you, picking up the new bike. Apologies for the lack of continuity, it took me over 3 weeks to finish filming bits for this. But, its done now and hopefully you can enjoy the experience with me. I've done over 500 miles on the KTM now and I have to say, I'm very happy with my decision to swap the Honda for the KTM. I can't say that one bike is bett...

In this video we say goodbye to the Honda and it really is a good, goodbye. The CB1000R has been a fantastic bike and will continue to be for its next owner. From Sunday blasts, commuting to work and 300 mile day trips this bike has been excellent in all areas. If the CB1000R is on your radar for your next bike, I would definitely recommend getting one. Anyway enjoy the video, apologies for the...

This is my take on the CB1000R. These are my likes and dislikes based on 2yrs of ownership. Hopefully somebody will gain some insight from this and help them make a decision to buy or not to buy. In short, this is a fantastic bike and a good all rounder. It has that Honda bomb proof engine and reliability and you wont go far wrong in owning one :) Enjoy Please like and subscribe

Big give away in the title, but yes, this is my first ride review of the new 2020 KTM 1290 Super Adventure S. To be fair I was very impressed with my first ride of a V Twin. This big bike does just about everything really well. Will this be my next bike? Hmmmm Maybe or maybe not. Enjoy

I love the SC project exhaust, thinking of getting one for my bike, but will definitely bite the bullet & get full exhaust, the dirt box got to go 😄 I also like the bike very much but somehow that exhaust looks too retro on that bike, for me.

Personally I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the sound of Honda’s stock exhaust on their in-line 4’s. I had a 2018 CB650F that was also plenty loud stock! I wouldn’t have traded that exhaust for anything. But I get it with Euro 5 and now Euro 5E B/S noise emissions. I heard a 2023 CB 650R and it was way too quiet. The only drawback to swapping the slip on is it changes that Honda classic sound completely.

Where did you see rumours of a new model 2023 SAS? I can only see new 890 and R model rumours. I've literally just put a deposit down on a 22 SA S because there are no spy shots, no rumours, nothing at Intermot 22 in Cologne (edit: EICMA is November) etc. I did see there will be a new model 1290 between the S and the R though. Obviously don't want to buy this if there's a new model coming. Even dealer told me likely there's only new colours (and I want a graphics kit anyway). Cheers and ride safe.

From a legal point of view you cannot chose to under rate your tyres load or speed rating, you can legally over rate from the OEM spec but not chose a lower speed rating… I am surprised the workshop fitted them as they are legally responsible as well as you for fitting the correct spec tyres. Not only are the police and MOT ‘interested’ but your insurance will be invalid. I would suggest replacing the the tyres for the correct spec ASAP 👍

      @jamest5149 Рік тому

@@fergiewoo8190 thats not how it works in most countries and certainly not in the UK 👍, its set by the manufacturer against strict rules, you cannot chose to ‘just ride slower’ or spec to the legal speed limits you will see. Check with your insurance company, police and MOT if in doubt. If you get stopped by traffic police they can and do check your tyre specs.
