I was working security at this GNR show in Saskatoon. That night was something else. As the band tore through the set, two almost naked girls strutted onto the stage, pizza boxes in hand. The entire security team was caught off guard with that one. Axl's puzzled expression mirrored ours as these girls casually handed out slices to Slash and the rest of the crew. The crowd went wild, unsure if it was part of the show or just a fan-driven stunt. Behind the scenes, we were in a bit of a dilemma - do we step in or let the party unfold? In the end, we decided to let it ride. The surprise on our faces matched Axl's as we watched the stage turn into a fest. It's those unscripted moments that make live shows unforgettable, man.

Yeah I got to see the Original lineup when they opened for Motley Crue. Blew Motley away IMO. I got to see this lineup as well. Nothing like the Originals. Great Band!

I saw them two nights later in Edmonton. What a weekend! Driving up in a snowstorm, getting wasted before the show, throwing up in garden at my buddies place. I miss being twenty.
Axl Rose was amazing live back then. He hit all the tough notes from the studio albums. Unfortunately, singer's voices change as they get older. This was great seeing/hearing him near his prime. Thanks for posting!
Well it was definitely close. His vocals always seemed strained live on any given night, but I thought he sounded killer here. The whole band is rocking. No gimmicks and not too many back up singers and excessive outfit changes. Rocks
I was thinking the same thing. I can't believe Axl and Slash didn't stop the tour and try to get Duff some help. The man is lucky to still be alive. He looks horrible and he goes on like this until 1994.

I seen them three times this tour. 1st was at the Starplex Ampitheater in Dallas with Skid Row opening. Next was in Houston at the Summit Arena in Houston, Sound Garden opened. Lastly, at Texas Stadium in Arlington with Metallica and Faith No More opening. Oh the memories from each of the three shows!!!!!!!!
Other people here are saying they look tired and over it by this point, but I don't see it. They're playing for over 2 hours!!! Bands don't do that, I've seen lots of concerts, I don't recall any headliner playing a set that's over 2 hours long. They look awesome to me here. It's just hit, after hit, after hit, after hit. There is absolutely no filler. It is unbelievable what an amazing rock n' roll band they were. It's such a shame we didn't get 5 more albums with songs of this quality on them. One of the coolest bands to ever do it, I'm so thankful we have videos like this of them in their glory days.

They were a killer live band when they showed up.(for the gig) But Izzy had left and that was pretty much the end for them because he did a lot of the writing. Maybe they could have made some cool stuff but things were broken for whatever the reason.
You can kinda tell, that this was toward the end. They look interested somewhat, but they're on "automatic pilot" at this point. When this tour started, I was a sophomore in college when it ended I was a senior. Saw them 7 times on this tour. These guys were huge with 9 videos in support of this tour. You could be mine, Don't cry 1, Don't cry 2, Live and Let Die, Yesterdays, In the Garden, Garden of Eden, November Rain, Estranged, Dead Horse. They were truly incredible. (SMH)

My first ever rock concert was in Modena, Italy, this same tour in 1993 with Brian May and Suicidal tendencies as openers......I am so glad I had the opportunity to see them at their best.....
This was in their best time. Axl's voice was powerfull, Slash's guitar playin amazing and Duff, Matt, Gilby and Dizzy complete it all. You can also see they have fun with eachother, Slash at 1:35:32. Good old days
Thanks for the upload 👍🏻 The Acoustic/Semi Acoustic set was great as it shows how great they played together ,they we’re tight but still had that loose swagger in the way they played, say what you like about GnR but they we’re bloody good Musicians who had done their homework musically and they never had to rely on some clic track, auto tune or backing track nonsense that most talentless acts do today, it was all them and that’s all that really matters and I’ll always Love em for that, the Real Deal they Certainly was ❤️🌞⭐️🎸

We were on tour crossing Canada at the same time and happened to be playing at Ryly's in Saskatoon that night. Slash and Matt came to check us out after their show and got up to jam with us after we shared a bottle of Jack together. Magical night. They gave us tix and passes for Edmonton 2 nights later. Great guys and crew!
Out of curiosity I dug out my cd of GnR LIES and in the sleeve was the ticket stub from this show, pre ticketmaster days this show cost me $29.50 with a 3 dollar service fee, we had 12 tickets for the upper level 22nd row at SaskPlace when it was still shiny and new

I was at this show, one thing I remembered was axl's mike not working at the start of You Could Be Mine, we were worried that he would have a fit and leave the stage. That was one of the loudest crowd's I ever saw, you can't tell from this video but the audience sang along (loudly) to almost every word of every song. Never thought I'd be watching it again 31 years later...

I was at this kick ass show! Still ingrained in my mind is Axl’s mic not working at the start of “You Could Be Mine”. He angrily slams it to the ground and walks away. After Axl leaving the stage at the Montreal show I was very worried that this Saskatoon show was over. But Axl came back and finished the show! I always remembered this moment at the beginning of the show but it appears this was 1.5 hours in (1:34:05)
SO THAT'S WHAT THAT CRACKLE IS 😭 IT'S THE ONLY ISSUE I EVER HAD WITH THIS BOOTLEG (I have an audio version as opposed to video and never knew what / why it was there)

Okay so its like this...the body reaches exhaustion and then you get your second wind. Anything after that is autopilot , which usually occurs after the 2nd year of touring. I think G&R toured over 3 years during this era so what you're seeing is the band running on autopilot AKA instinct.

Probably the sloppiest rock'n roll band in the world but they didn't give a... slice of Domino's. Great energy, power and musical expression. One of my all time favorites for sure!

Axl’s voice and Energy just great. I have seen them live more than 10 times. Never Axl with this quality of voice. Lucky guys that went to show on 1993. Hmmm….Axl kept the same shirt full concert.

Duff was on his death bed here. As a very long time fan I'm soo happy he's happy and healthy these days.
I was just about to post that he looks next to death here. Dude went there & back no doubt. I love me some Duff, he lived & is still living the true rockstar life! The band was on point here though 💯 🤘🏼🤘🏼💪🏼💪🏼😝😝
His bass is higher in the mix though. Pumping along nicely. Sounds like the band are a four piece.

Okay so its like this...the body reaches exhaustion and then you get your second wind. Anything after that is autopilot , which usually occurs after the 2nd year of touring. I think G&R toured over 3 years during this era so what you're seeing is the band running on autopilot AKA instinct.
