What Does It Mean To Belong

With all of the uncertainty in the world, what does it truly mean to belong? Our hopes are that everyone that comes through our doors each and every day, truly feels what it is like to "belong" at the Y!

I'm very often alone on the holidays because my family really doesn't want me around much, and I have no friends. One of the things I do to stay connected is to meditate on the fact that many others are in the very same boat, and I try to pray for them, as well as send best wishes and thoughts their way. This helps me feel like I belong too, even if it's just to others mired in anonymity like myself.
