Watching Racquel with you, it's the first thing that stood out to me. How she will wrap her arm around yours, put her hand on your shoulder or leg. I know it sounds insignificant to most, but human touch is so vital in all relationships, whether it's someone you love, a friend or family member. Just one more reason I adore filipinas. When I went to Cebu, I spoke to maybe 100 people on Okcupid, just changed my location and I specifically looked for women posting pictures of them in church or with their family. Does give you options to weed out incompatible people online. Here in the US, I get like no matches, but over there I can be picky. Found me a great girl and will be back to see her soon! I think you shouldn't repeat the infos you already gave in older videos, maybe if you get the same question again, just put a link on the other video where you talk about that specific question (it may help to raise up older videos views). If you think about it, 50k sub vid and 60k sub vid in many ways it gives almost the same answers ('cause ppl does the same questions ofc xD ). Or... In the mainpage of YT, just put a video where you present yourself and your wife and you both gives basic infos that allow people to know both of you, where you live and such things. Better than explaining everything every time. That's just my 2 cents. 😉

I love the idea of a stay healthy and active in the Philippines video. I can't imagine how difficult it would be to eat healthy considering the amount of sugar used in Filipino foods. Trying to maintain a low carb high protein diet must be so difficult. I would die every time I pass a dunkin donuts wanting some of those sweet sweet carbs! My own yearly visit to PH is next month and I know every year I go, I come back with an extra 10 kilos from the street sagin, the sweet spaghetti, and all that delicious adobo. You don't know why people keep asking you if you give money to their family? Come on, you know why. The bulk of expat youtubers have mates who are not financially secure and it is very clear that a lot of the philippines is in this situation. You are the exception to the rule, not the rule itself. Being humble about it would be a lot better than trying to play ignorant about about it. One question I would love to see you tackle is your financial stability. I am not looking for dollar figures but clearly you had a very decent plan for your early retirement and I am quite curious about how you accomplished this. Did both you are raquel work in the US and just save every single penny you could, put it all in some investment deal and are living off the interest? Do you have a side hussle trying to win at crypto? Are you into some type of business there in PH? A lot of expats try to move to PH on just their retirement income and I think that is actually a pretty difficult way of doing it. Having a proper financial plan and understanding the difficulty of actually making money in PH is needed before just diving into the idea of living there.
@@ItsMe_Philippines perhaps you don’t know anyone personally but you can’t tell me that you don’t know what’s happening in the UA-cam expat genre. I would believe you know exactly why people ask you if you give your wife’s family money. Approaching your answer with understanding of what goes on in the Philippines in this regard would have a much greater impact than trying to say I don’t see it so it doesn’t affect me. This is just my opinion of course. I enjoy 99% of your content but I would have liked to see this answer with more understanding and empathy.

The reason they ask is because they see that you are happy and they want that same happiness. So I try to remember that when I get asked that question, it is really a compliment because they want what I have with my foreign fiance. Thanks for letting us know your ages, that's cool, met my wife when she was 37 and I was 49 and have found that our closeness in ages has been a great help (around ten year gap). Like the commentors idea for a t-shirt that says your ages...very funny. Really like your house, good job on the build. Definitely sounds like you are in a good neighborhood.

I love the idea of a stay healthy and active in the Philippines video. I can't imagine how difficult it would be to eat healthy considering the amount of sugar used in Filipino foods. Trying to maintain a low carb high protein diet must be so difficult. I would die every time I pass a dunkin donuts wanting some of those sweet sweet carbs! My own yearly visit to PH is next month and I know every year I go, I come back with an extra 10 kilos from the street sagin, the sweet spaghetti, and all that delicious adobo.
You don't know why people keep asking you if you give money to their family? Come on, you know why. The bulk of expat youtubers have mates who are not financially secure and it is very clear that a lot of the philippines is in this situation. You are the exception to the rule, not the rule itself. Being humble about it would be a lot better than trying to play ignorant about about it.
One question I would love to see you tackle is your financial stability. I am not looking for dollar figures but clearly you had a very decent plan for your early retirement and I am quite curious about how you accomplished this. Did both you are raquel work in the US and just save every single penny you could, put it all in some investment deal and are living off the interest? Do you have a side hussle trying to win at crypto? Are you into some type of business there in PH? A lot of expats try to move to PH on just their retirement income and I think that is actually a pretty difficult way of doing it. Having a proper financial plan and understanding the difficulty of actually making money in PH is needed before just diving into the idea of living there.
I did not act ignorant about it but stated a fact that I don’t know anyone that is supporting the family.
@@ItsMe_Philippines perhaps you don’t know anyone personally but you can’t tell me that you don’t know what’s happening in the UA-cam expat genre. I would believe you know exactly why people ask you if you give your wife’s family money. Approaching your answer with understanding of what goes on in the Philippines in this regard would have a much greater impact than trying to say I don’t see it so it doesn’t affect me. This is just my opinion of course. I enjoy 99% of your content but I would have liked to see this answer with more understanding and empathy.

It's not realistic for other people as I did it for 20years back home. Just look online for online jobs in demand and start going to school for one you like.

Corey, I think it is hilarious that you get asked about your wife’s sisters often. I get asked the same question about my foreign fiance’s sisters. The reason they ask is because they see that you are happy and they want that same happiness. So I try to remember that when I get asked that question, it is really a compliment because they want what I have with my foreign fiance. Brother, I’m happy for you… you found a great wife in a world full of crazy and broken relationships.
