Honestly, base on some statistics I read. Filipino's has more bachelors degree holder specifically Filipina's compared to US women. No hate. Its just that its too insulting for foreign women to call our Filipina's uneducated or worst to call them slaves. Its good thing that Corey speaks about this topic. Thanks Corey for standing up and defending our Filipina misconceptions about them. 🙂

Calling Filipinas uneducated is a broad topic. Yes, the majority of young Filipinas who marry old foreign ex-pats are uneducated (unfortunately), but in general, most Filipinas who are educated and are working class don't date old ex-pats. This is a very delicate topic and should not be generalized. There are 3 general categories of Filipinas and those who marry old foreign expats belong to one of these 3 categories. And when I say "old ex-pat", Cory doesn't qualify in this group yet (retired seniors).

I am Filipina and I have 6 siblings and we're all college graduates. My dad didn't even finished high school and my mom is a traditional housewife. Yet they managed to give us good education and a better life. He worked abroad for more than 20 years (coming home every 2 years for a 1 month vacation). My mom is the cohesive glue that held our big family together. She taught us family and moral values through actions. A 5 foot woman who never yelled, never whipped her children and ruled her home with gentleness and love. And yet, we were always afraid to disappoint her. I hope every man would be so lucky to find a woman like my mom. Just flexing my Filipina mom!😆😁

You can see her intelligence and I'm not talking about "book" knowledge, but understanding how to live life, have a very good relationship and know how to interact with another, very impressive for such a young age. I've been traveling to the Philippines for 40 years and I can tell you how many people in the US are so misinformed about the Philippines and Filipina's and they don't care to listen or learn, in their minds they just believe they are correct. Alot of people never been there or they have only been to Angeles City and been with bar girls so that is their reference point. He adored her and he did everything that he could for her. The simple logic of treating someone with kindness and respect and receiving the same in return has escaped modern women. It is easier for them to lash out against or try to belittle men and women who have learned how to love each other unselfishly. Unfortunately many of them will never learn.

All she wants to do is support me and make my life easier, she has no issue with my current situation of me having my daughter wed-sun. She is so respectful of my daughter and wants nothing more than to be her friend. She literally works and sends all her money to her family and lives very poor so that her family can survive in the province. the morals and selflessness of the culture there in the Philippines is fantastic. I am not rich nor can I take care of her family and she accepts me and my life, she just wants to make my day better. Great episode..!
Watched 2 of them, and y'all exhibit the reason i married my Lady, and moved from the USA here in the Philippines. My wife came over to the USA for 10 years, worked with me, everything. Shoveled dirt, set up my work laptop for each task, everything. Her love has been the stabilizer, her rock steady unchanging heart has been amazing.
She is the greatest blessing on this planet in my life.. and more than a queen... she is my best friend-
Watching your vid's reminded me, she is always a kid at heart, and that is something that i will always appreciate!!
    Best wishes to you both..

Wow. All I see is a very happy newlywed couple with mutual respect. Regarding education I shake my head at how undervalued education is in the USA and considering our country's wealth it makes no sense to me. Truthfully the topics discussed actually pertain more about couples in the USA, literally it's an auction block.
I'm pretty simple when it comes down to it all, mutual respect and some peace in a place where I believe I can be happy. That's what I want and that's what I'm looking for.
Thank you and I wish you both the best. 👍😎

    Hi Cory and wifey😊
This is one of the interesting contents you have had.I am a 36 y.o Filipina from Davao.I am currently living here in Michigan, for almost 4 years now.
I’ve been hearing a lot of discrimination lately online about Foreigners marrying/married to Filipinas which is unfair for us but all I can say is that we Filipinas are mostly good catch for you guys👏😁
Living here I have been seeing and knowing a lot of American girls already.Yes they can be sweet and expressive but they can be very entitled at the same time.
Filipinas just know how to be patient most of the time and would prefer to be calm until we are provoked or annoyed by our men😂🤣
Then we we would like to be heard out😊
I am proud of our culture and I am blessed beyond measure to have such wonderful parents who raised, taught me and instilled in me the good values and most especially in the Spiritual aspect🙏
When it comes to speaking English language, thank God,I am proud to say that I can communicate well with my husband, our families and all the people here that I have met.But of course, every day is a learning process for me still,no matter how old we get we still are going to learn in all aspect right?
I was teaching English online to Japanese students for 3 years and it did really help me to gain confidence in speaking and interacting with foreigners😊
I wouldn’t be where I am at today, receiving compliments from American people here of what a breath of fresh air I am.I do know how to stand my grounds and won’t let anyone discriminate me and the country where I came from.Proud Filipina here!My husband is indeed a lucky guy to have me and of course I am blessed to have him❤
    Keep it going you guys👏

To me the difference between a smart and an intelligent person is, a smart person is well versed in facts whereas an intelligent person is not only well versed with knowledge but is open minded enough to look at both sides of an issue and then come to perspicacious conclusion. Especially when it comes to topics such as religion, politics and economics.

LOVE this video. Filipina's are freaking AMAZING, BEAUTIFUL, SMART, FEMININE women who appreciate their men and want to take care of them, their homes and families. That is AMAZING! I've met more than a few American men with Filipina wives and they all have heard the same things that you are talking about in your video. None of them were looking for slaves in any way. It's so funny that American women think that men are taking advantage of Filipina's because they aren't intelligent enough to know better - when every one that I know is highly educated and can speak multiple languages! Again Filipina's are AMAZING! You certainly seem to have got an amazing one sir! So happy for you both!

    Hi Corey...Love your videos..
As for my experience with the Filipinos, they are so uncomplicated and always so relaxed and they DO LOVE this way of thinking and living...Any kind of stress or tention or intense talks are not what they prefer...They do not hassle too much to give an impression like they are some kind of Professor or so and do not care about trying to give the impression that they know everything better. And I guess reason for that is that they just keep their energy for relaxing and enjoying life and having fun. And they feel themselves more comfortable around people think and act like that and taking the life as easy as possible. I have a feeling that it is hard for a Filipino to just relax and be themselves with a westerner guy if the guy is not that relaxed and being himself ad a westerner from another culture...Like even when the westerner talks too perfect English, the time with them becomes quickly kinda challenge and they again can not get into that relaxed mood and they feel stressed. As a westerner guy, I do try to keep everything as simple as possible and they feel themselves much relaxed around me. But then I am not the one being himself, right? I am trying to find a balance there and struggling a bit. Well, a relation between two persons from two different worlds is indeed a challenge and needs a bit of adapting. Anyone can give me any advise about that?
