I guess I like real. She looks like her skin is a mask/plastic, creepy really. Apologize, I know not a popular opinion on this video. A 61 year old that looks like she's trying too hard to prevent inevitable aging, IMO. May be if the camera was only on her, it would work. Next to you, her age is obvious, like she is old enough to be your mom

@user-cn7ip6si3v not interested in having a full-time job working on my face. Admit it, she's working hard trying to look like a 20 something, glass skin, extensions in her hair. And ever plastic surgeon will tell you there's only so much you can do topically. I don't follow her, may be she's shared all the fillers and botox/procedures. Can we not be a society that appreciates growing older gracefully. I'd much prefer to grow wiser with gaining knowledge about our earth and nature, so much we don't know. I credit Angie first and foremost for helping me improve my skin. She above everyone else I watch convinced me to wear sunscreen, specifically mineral sunscreen, which I didn't even know existed until I watched her videos. She's also the one who convinced me to try out Agency Skincare. I've been working diligently on my skin for a solid year now, and I've been taking photos monthly. I can honestly say that I look noticeably better, and I feel I owe her so much thanks for that fact. Angie herself is flat out gorgeous and I was blown away when she said she was in her 60s. No way! I honestly thought she was in her 40s. If I can age half as well as she does I'll feel pretty darn good.

Angie is so right about Retin A. I started using at age 30 for some adult acne and at 67 my skin is smooth and with very little wrinkling. Sure I have some eye bags but honestly I have never thought about having any fillers or Botox. It sure works and everyone should be using on some level. Thanks ladies, great video!!!

From what I see, people with oily skin (prone to acne, unfortunately) have less wrinkles than the people with dry skin, anyway. I use retinol for a few years, and I don't know if i see any results. This few wrinkles I have are still there. My bigger problems are under eye bags, and sagging skin... I didn't find the magical cure yet. Any recommendation? (And do you remember if your skin was ever dry and flaky or red after retinol? Mine, never was, so I wonder if maybe it doesn't work on my skin...)

As someone with lifelong dry skin I found that Tretinoin made me drier and it scared me as I looked worse than before using it so I gave up!!! This was years ago, then I researched and learned that some people with dry skin can “look” worse during the adaptive process and to not give up on it. So I tried again but this time a tiny amount over moisturizer and gradually using it on its own. Now my skin while still dry is definitely looking much better and I noticed less lines and more clarity overall. I will never stop using it I even mix it into my body lotion and use it all over.

Love this video and both of you! I just wanted to say something about the people Angie’s age with good skin having acne. I never really had acne except for a few months when I was 13 and again when I was in my last year of medical school (24-ish) and had to decide about my future. BUT I always had oily skin. Now at 61 I’ve been using tretinoin for about two years but even then I hardly had any wrinkles. I get filler occasionally but I’ve never had Botox - BUT I (almost) always used sunscreen and - most important - wore sunglasses so I never got those squinty lines. Anyway, just wanted to encourage any 60+ watchers out there who think it’s too late. It’s not!! Listen to these amazing women and follow their instructions!!

IMHO one of the best ways to acclimatize to tretinoin is to START with retinAL (not retinOl) ... once you have used retinal for a while your skin will 'purge' less when you start using tret .. at least that's what I found .. I used the Geek and Gorgeous retinal products, working up through the strengths, and am now happily using tret without too many issues. BTW G and G retinal is very affordable when compared to Medik8 .. just a tip, and their products are gorgeous and effective. xxx

That blow out brush has Saved my Sanity!!! I would get SO FRUSTRATED trying to blow out my hair, & feeling like I was just NEVER happy with my hair! However, when trying to research blow brushes, they were either Crazy expensive, or there were such mixed reviews that I read, & honestly I don't have the money to buy a "dud". So when Gabi reviewed & recommended the Tymo, I jumped at it, and am happy that I did. I also bought it when they offered a great price on the flat iron/curl iron along with the blow brush, I think I got Both for $99! I haven't delved into trying to curl with the wand yet, I need to find the time to experiment with it when I don't necessarily have somewhere important to go to.

Love both these gals! Have followed Angie for years. I know influencers can only speak from their experience and/or ethnicity. One suggestion for any women of color watching, being a black woman there are specific considerations for women of color on Tretinoin. It can make our hyperpigmentation worse trying to address collagen and wrinkles. Even if we go to a dermatologist, not all are experts in black skin either. Here in Canada that is a real problem. I followed the dermatologist's treatment plan here and it made my skin so much worse! Now I understand why and more because of Dr. V. (Dr. Vanita Rattan). If you are a woman of color, please always do research specifically for black skin. I have ordered the Haruharu sunscreen to try cautiously because chemical sunscreen are irritating to black skin which then works counter to protection we want if we get irritated, mineral sunscreens are better for us, but mineral sunscreens often do not feel great on the skin. Oh the challenges right ladies?! Still love so much of what these ladies share. I have Angie's brush set, they are AMAZING!!!

I am light skinned and burn like a lobster, live in south Florida, and SPF is a daily thing. I use mineral for face, neck, chest and hands. I have the Haru rice mineral and love it. Disappears and works well for me. I find it isn’t greasy and can wear makeup with it no problem. I have 3 mineral sunscreens I use - Haru, Australian Gold Tinted, and Ceramic Ve tinted. Depending on what I’m doing I will grab the one that suits me for that day. I have oily t-zone and dry around it so I may have to pick up one of Angie’s recommendations to try also.

Ladies, thanks so much for this! I spend so so much on skin/makeup/self care stuff because whew…. The delicate dance I feel I have to do to figure out what my skin and hair wants on any given day is so exhausting- I turned 50 about a week ago and have been in menopause for at least 5 yrs and have had osteoporosis for over 10 yrs My hair is getting so thin - I knew menopause is related to hair thinning but I assumed my diet but when Angie said the thinning on top and in the temple area - literally described my hair.
I’ve purchased all SkinCeuticals skin care with a few Tatcha products for yrs but have felt like I’ve reached the limit of what they can do without lasers and whatnot.

While I appreciate the advice, its no secret Angie has had procedures done. I assumed she was in her late fifties anyway. 😮
Additionally, most of these product recommendations cost a fortune. Its not practical for anyone to spend three thousand dollars on a head light or two hundred regularly on shampoo and conditioner.
Self care is important, but at some point you begin to realize that extreme vanity, such as in Angie's case , can be unhealthy. I rarely post but would like to add that this is exactly why the beauty community is suffering.
This sends a direct message that only those who can afford it can be more attractive by using these products. Couple that with affliations, untrue product claims pushed by beauty influencers, and corporate/celebrity greed.
However, no one is bending my arm to buy any of them so, thank you for the informative video, and sharing what works for you ladies. 😊

Aww, I’ve followed Angie for a long time and she is very down to earth and always offers an economical option in a category. That said, she would never recommend a product just because it is inexpensive. The hairband device is nowhere close to the price you quoted. And, she highlights any devices she recommends at huge cost savings during sales. She is one of the most empowering content creators in the beauty space. Full stop.

      Q me podrías aconsejar?.
los champús me han gustado mucho, necesito uno para el pelo más recio q me de brillo y q no se me caiga el pelo, ahora no se me cae, ya se me cayó y no me crece, si por lo menos se me pusiera más grueso y menos fino, estaría encantada. Tu nueva seguidora

@@GlamGirlGabiI appreciate you beautiful ladies and the content you both make, but I would like to provide some constructive feedback. I find it a bit misleading when Angie is discussing how Tret has changed the wrinkles around her eyes etc without adding the disclaimer that Angie gets botox around her eyes to help with wrinkles as well! I have no doubt that Tret has helped but being fully transparent is always appreciated and to me makes the content even more informative!

I already bought Angie's concealer brush a long time ago, and I Cannot live without it! It's the ONLY thing that has Ever worked properly for me for applying undereye concealer! I definitely want to get her brush set too, when I have the money. And then, I will use the concealer brush in that set to set my undereyes with power.
I also definitely want to get that face serum foundation, as soon as I run out of my Color Science one. I don't wear foundation often anymore, so it might be a while.
I have really been wanting to try the Lador hair product.
I absolutely Cannot afford the Orbae products, but I'm definitely going to try the dupes! Thanks for finding those Gabi!
I want to get the NYX powder. I've been using the IT powder for years now.
I want to try out the new sunscreens Angie has been testing.

You women are wonderful on your own, and you're a dream come true together! Thanks for the excellent video. And I have to say, I would never, EVER purchase a sunscreen without Angie's stamp of approval! You can't imagine how much your research and knowledge and endorsement simplify the sunscreen choosing process for me, and I am sure many, many others. Also, I'm 58, and one of the lucky people who started Retin-A in my 20s to treat cystic acne. I actually do consider it lucky, because my skin has aged very well, and I encourage anyone considering tretinoin to take this duo's great advice. Thanks again to both of you!

I’m a little scared to hear which sunscreens got reformulated because I’m sure one will be the one I love most (the Elta MD)…I do like the Haruharu sunnie, though. This was such a fun video with 2 beautiful women. Great energy!. I've been following Angie for years now and have adopted a plethora of skincare advice from her. I'm 74. I saw my dermatologist this past week. She froze off several sebhorreic keratoses on my face. I brought up tretinoin to help get rid of the 2 large dark cheek spots. She said, yes, but it would work very slowly. Maybe at my age she felt I should do something with quicker results 🤷🏼😂 Id rather not get into laser treatments, etc. Is retinaldehyde the next best thing after tretinoin? (Being glued to Angie's channel I should know the answer!)
