Was für eine tolle Kamera. Leider werde ich sie mir nie leisten können.
Ist nicht schlimm.. Da ist Panasonictechnik drin. Bekommst deutlich mehr für deutlich weniger Geld bei anderen Herstellern. Da ist leider nichts besonderes an den Kameras dran dass den Preis auch nur im Ansatz rechtfertigt. Rein technisch betrachtet.

just get a used q, sl or an m240 for ~2k or less... it is not that big of a deal these days. very affordable and still very much usable even on professional standards.

SL old has 0.80X viewfinder magnification that is pretty mundane and not great.
SL 2 has even lower magnification 0.78X like Panasonic model.
SL 3 has lower still 0.76X...
And SL3 EVF resolution is similar to SL2 and spect in dots that are subpixels not pixels so still very puny, 5.75 Mdot is only 1.9 MP, and if is pentile then even lower still ~ 1.5 MP. For 4K so not even 5K, and 2:3 aspect ratio, it needs to be 33.554 Mdot or 11.184 MP.
And a realy decent magnification is from 0.86X and up, great at 0.90X, awesome at 0.92-0.98X, and amazing at 2-5X @ 100% @ 24mm eye point like from a great medium format camera 6x7, 6x8, 6x9.

Manufacturing is globalized - a product might have Japanese components (like Panasonic) then be assembled in Germany. It's more important to focus on what makes the product special within its price range. This video would be stronger if it highlighted unique features, design, and how those deliver the best quality, rather than just the assembly location. Unless you're dealing with high-end watches or cars, the 'Made in...' tagline is losing relevance for standard electronics.
For what this camera offers, you can get that and more for half the cost in the Nikon Z8
How so? Nikon Z8 is the product of a completely different culture and approach. It's not a work of art.

Made in Germany?... I think I would have more confidence in its build-quality if it were actually made in Japan... But not, of course, if it were made in China, Thailand, etc.

Heh, germany hasn't figured out yet that people don't fall for "made in germany" anymore. Nowadays, every country ops know how to produce high-quality products. it's not the 1970s for the country of production to mean something. Germany also produces low-quality products with the same label.
Even 'Made in Japan' doesn't carry the same catchet it once did.

This elitism is ridiculous. It's in the eye of the photographer not the projected longevity of the camera.
