I never have. This is because violet isn't the normal kind of aoe. All others have some kind of targeting logic (ea hits primary target and 4 nearby creeps, sabre bounces to closest creeps disciple shoots a 'skillshot missile' ect) but violet spell seems to be completely random. This means that even if you placed them vertically it doesnt actually incentivise or prompt their spell to hit specific targets so you just lose damage share for little benefit.
