MSI Z490 A PRO BIOS UPDATE quick tutorial

The MSI Z490 A PRO motherboard is a little different compared to other manufacturers for bios update/flash.The key is to copy the actual bios files into a navigated file directory. Not the folder that it comes with. E.g. put the bios files into downloads.In MSI bios you flash mode, go to windows\youruser\downloads and select the bios files#msi #msigaming #flashbios

can you save your overclock settings prior to updating bios? every time I update my bios i have to re configure all my timings and overclocks all over again. I also see they have some type of ME Firmware to download as well. Not sure how to install this as well.

No you do lose the timings etc on bios updates
