Went from running multiple marathons a year to none and then did the Blue Angel marathon in Pensacola, FL after three months of no running. You are right - DO NOT RECOMMEND doing one without training! You did an awesome job! What an experience to have for the rest of your life.
Wow! What an incredible feat! I hope you enjoyed Paris, it really is a unique and beautiful city. I don't think I could do what you did without a lot of preparation, but maybe someday i will get to follow in your footsteps. Keep up the adventures!
All in a day's work for someone used to routinely cranking out 20 mile plus days. Same same -- but different! Props for finishing the last mile in good form despite the lack of training! You are a beast!
Girl, you are amazing! You are a great role model for young girls/women. Shoot, you're a good role model for me too! You've inspired me to get back into backpacking. Thank you Taylor 💜
Did the same thing for the Chicago marathon, yesterday 10-09-22. I don’t know how I did it but like you said you set your mind on auto pilot and I just ran, I finished at 4:04 and didn’t realize it. Nice video thanks for sharing!
Hey Taylor! Such an adventure! I miss marathon day in Boston. There are few things like marathon day in a big city. I highly recommend people go experience one if you are near an event. No way! I used to live at mile 6 of the marathon! Small world! You looked pretty damn good at mile 25, but man the smiles at the finish were awesome!🙏 Thanks for bringing us along today. I hope tomorrow’s miles are kind. Keep truckin’ and be well. -Grateful
Well done Taylor! As always, your smile is infectious. As a Brit I can say, France is a beautiful country, unfortunately full of French people!!! By heck though, great wine and food.
Allez Taylor! Wow, that's quite a feat without training! Probably more brag-worthy ;) It was cool to see some of the same views/sights, from a little different vantage point, that I'm used to seeing during the final stage of the Tour de France when they roll down the Champs-Élysées.
Wow! What an adventure! Thanks for sharing! One thing though… Chipotle?! You were in France!! You’ll have to go back another time for the food! Have a good one!
Haha I was there for 2 days before the marathon and got thr chance to get some good food in Paris! After the race I just craved something fast and familiar
Were you only there for the race? 1-2 days? You should have stayed, enjoyed France much more! There’s so much culture to be experienced there! 👐 Kudos on the running though. That is quite beast like with no practice before,.. 👍
Congrats! Impressive doing that with no training. How tired/sore were you the following day? I just signed up myself and also planning on flying out the next morning.
When you were hiking the AT last year, you said you were getting married in the fall? Were you married as planned? Not that this is related to your marathon but was just wondering!
My vlog running the Paris Marathon 2022? What else do you do? My vlog winning the Nobel Prize. My vlog winning the Olympic shot put gold medal. My vlog saving the Earth from a Martian invasion. I can't wait to watch the next one. Great job. Oh, to be young!
I have spent years on the AT. When you announced you were going to hike it I said you will not be hiking with anyone because your pace will be much faster than everyone else, and you will not want to sit back and run in place- waiting, with those long legs. You were offended, I think because you wanted the fellowship. A marathon with no training? I rest my case.
I ran a marathon once without training. Figured if I could hike 26 miles in a day with a pack on with no issues, I could run 26 miles with no issues. I learned about nipple chafing and I couldn’t walk the next day. My knees were shot while hiking downhill for years.

Nice video. I'm planning to run there next year and your content helped me with valuable infos. Thanks. Congratulations too. Best regards from Brazil.
What a great event! Thanks for sharing and congrats on finishing. Seeing from your perspective in the race was fun.

Impressive, and it looks like you never broke a sweat!
Bravo ! et toutes mes félicitations !! 42 km sans entrainement … chapeau bas ;)
Cool! That took some guts. Nice job. Good race strategy considering you didn't specifically train for it.
Great job Taylor!!
Congrats...you did good !! Thanks for sharing.

Great job. I can't believe you didn't hang out in Paris after the race. I hope you got to see some of it beforehand.
I could barely walk after the race! We did do a lot of sightseeing beforehand
@@TaylortheNahamshaHiker Oh good point. I hope you are feeling better.
Congratulations! So inspiring.
Thank you!
Congratulations. Nice achievement. How nice of all those people to clap for you as you went by lol.

Hi really loved your video - I’m doing London first time - how easy was it to use your Go Pro ? Which model do you have ?
Were you only there for the race? 1-2 days? You should have stayed, enjoyed France much more! There’s so much culture to be experienced there! 👐
Kudos on the running though. That is quite beast like with no practice before,.. 👍
3 days! We did see a lot of the city while we were there. I've also been to Paris 3 times before too
That’s nuts young Skywalker.
Also the Paris-Brest-Paris radonee but that is once every 5 or 6 years.
Most impressive Taylor.
Will we ever see the cherry coke dance again? S'il vous plait?
Nice Job Taylor, I am jealous that you did not train for this marathon and did not cramp up. Paris is beautiful :-)
With you’re hiking, you should try trail racing!!
Congrats! Impressive doing that with no training.
How tired/sore were you the following day? I just signed up myself and also planning on flying out the next morning.
What was the final time?
Insane. Wow.
Enjoyed the video - There is nothing like eating Chipotle in Paris. :0)
Congratulations amazing
Congratulations
Congrats! What an accomplishment! My son and i are going to start climbing NH 4000 footers. Which one should we start with?

Taylor the Nahamsha Hiker okay thanks thats what we will start with! Love the content!
How much the cost for join and prepare for the paris marathon? Thanks for reply me .
Thinking of running the Paris marathon in 2023. How was the weather? it looked really sunny and I was wondering if it was very warm?
I was pretty cold, but good running weather once my body temperature warmed up. It was snowing the days leading up to the race
Amazing ... but the free t-shirt !!! 🏆🇨🇦
Well done, what did you think of Paris?
It was nice!! I've been a few times in the past. Just felt good to be traveling again
What was your time? Congrats anyway.
Taylor is there a certain trail you recommend for PIERCE mountain?
I like taking crawford path
Thanks for the advice! Keep up the great work!
Im running a marathon next month, i have been training, squats everything
Another salt trick is to lick your arms - sounds gross but it is your sweat and it is salt :) Great job!
Niiiiice 👍👍
what's 26 miles compared to 2000? 👏👏
Tough!! I was more sore from this than I was on the AT
Props!!
That was "fun" :D Do you know how many days you walked a marathon on the AT?
17!
@@TaylortheNahamshaHiker Amazing!
You could have ended up injured....but your base fitness must be at a high enough level. Well done.
When you were hiking the AT last year, you said you were getting married in the fall? Were you married as planned? Not that this is related to your marathon but was just wondering!
im getting married this year
it would be so cool if you did a mountain marathon.

Unbelievable!
Got Chipotle in Paris?? Next time, please go to a true brasserie and treat yourself with a nice steak-frites for the after-run!
I ate more traditional food the other days I was in Paris. After the marathon, I just wanted something quick and familiar
@@TaylortheNahamshaHiker Fair enough, but again, next time you do a big workout like this, try and have a steak-frites. You'll thank me later!
don't be missin no memos
I literally ran that EXACT marathon!!! Amazing time, but I almost broke down crying after crossing the finish line! I pushed myself like no tomorrow!
What Paris France for real yu went there just for a race ? Lol but cool
Oh c’mon!! You can’t pronounce Shaum Ellie Say?? Kids today…great race!!!
Wait! You went to Paris to eat CHIPOTLE!?!?! LOL!
Haha I love chipotle! It's the only thing I wanted after the race
