And it is possible that the contactor of microphone got damaged because of short circuit and you cannot make a clear phone call.     Step 1 Remove the Screen
    Step 2 Remove the loudspeaker and the taptic engine
    Step 3 Remove the battery
    Step 4 Remove the Front camera
    Step 5 Remove the motherboard
    Step 6 Remove the broken charging port
    Step 7 Install a new charging port
    Step 8 Install the loudspeaker and the Taptic engine
    Step 9 Install the motherboard
    Step 10 Install the front camera

    This helped massively as my iphone kept rebooting after i replaced my iphone housing , make sure you keep the charging port and flex cable the OEM original ;)

      actually if your talking about replacing the little copper thing on a different place I agree. I put mine back where it came off and it wasn’t there. Maybe there’s a different model?😊

    I repair alot of androids but apple seems to make this easier yet more complected at the same time. love the battery adhesive compared to a slathered android battery.

    I wish I didn’t leave my battery hook up like you did because now my phone want stay on or go to wifi. Battery should be the first thing off and the last one to be plug up.. I hope I can’t get mine to work .

    how come your putting those copper grounding sensors or whatever they are in different places (#22) than other videos and you don it one at all under the taptic engine’s screws(17&18)

    I did exactly as you did, problem is while repairing i lost screw no. 26, i couldnt find anywhere, so I closed all up put new charging port, after I turn it on, it has problem while on speaker on call, it shits down, tried again, same issue, please help ...... 😭😭😭😭.....HELP HELP, i cant figure out, keeps shutting down while talking on speaker for min or less.....

    iphone 6s max was easy back then, i changed mine that time,.now my iphone xs max had the same charging port problem, i dont know why they make this complicated

      @@shivasharma9657 hey! Yes the issue was it had an after market charger port flex cable in it. I had to basically remove everything and replace it with a oem charger port flex cable and that fixed it right up.

      @@Cannicky Yes the new charging port was the issue. I put my old one on and it worked again. So maybe it has to be a original one and not a cheap china port…

      You need to take out the pin and try if the charging port works

      I think its the charging port that i replaced its not genuine
      Now i will replace it with the OEM part or the orignal pull
      These iphones are way to sensitive

      I'm thinking of doing it as something is up with mine (possibly one of the pins) and is does not connect to my Macbook via the lightening cable but still charges ok, as I spent my childhood dismantling things to find out how they work doing the repair is not an issue. The only thing would be that the waterproof seal gets broken, but is that enough of a reason not to do it.
