Some of these tri-lobe screws are difficult to get in. I had a lot of trouble with one screw on an iPhone 7 Plus that would not go in, but I finally got it.
Guys you need to be careful when popping the FACE ID flex. The OP didn't do enough justice to that part. You ought to pop the flex out from the socket first before removing the adhesive. This cost me my Face ID flex. Now I have to use the phone without face ID as the flex broke while trying to do it the OP way. Sad 😢😭😭😟😟😞😞💔💔😓😓☹☹😥😥😖😖
Thanks for mentioning that. I will take extra care when I do the iPhone XS Max soon. This iPhone repair looks more difficult than replacing the battery in an iPhone 7 Plus that I just did.
My employee did exactly as you mentioned. His work is fine and he doesn’t make mistakes. My iPhone X Max is no more. It’s dead. Please do not make any more videos. Please also remove your gloves. It is serious as it costed me my replacement screen, 2 work hours of employee, and tomorrow I will need to go to phone shop and pay high price to get this done. It’s a loss of $250, however, if any of my data is affected, it would be irreplaceable loss. Won’t be able to sleep tonight specifically because of this.
Thanks for the video. I'll be doing an iPhone XS Max soon, so I will follow the video as I go.

Great tutorial! Outlines all the info except waterproofing piece. I watched another video that was 30sec TikTok and got that info. Thanks!
Excellent video, thank you! You explained everything in a simple and concise way making it easy enough that anyone could do the repair themselves.
awesome videos, thanks for not cutting the video and let us see what you did for the whole process
Thanks 🙏🏻
thank you sir
You are welcome. Glad the video helped.
Thanks for the video. Would this repair keep the Face ID working? I need to replace mine after a drop but i'm worried about messing up the Face ID.
It looks as if I sucessfully transfer the proximity sensor (as you show in the vvideo) it should work?
@@fosterscaninmyhand yes. the face ID will work

sounds like a you problem, you should have taken it to a professional instead of your "employee" in the first place.
