Without a doubt my favorite gun in my collection. Had it about 5 years now and it runs flawlessly.

I have one in 40S&W. Love it. The rounds leave the 16" barrel at 10mm handgun velocities. I'm glad they used the pistol grip as the mag well, saves about 3 inches in length verses AR-15 based designs.

They are still available, but they are harder to find and prices, especially now, are crazy on them.

Bought one yesterday from Guns.com for $850. Now they show $1000+. Must have bought the second to last one:)
I’m a geezer new shooter and can’t wait for it to arrive. My first gun, Sig 365xl is barely a month old. I think I found a new hobby and a safer abode (at least mentally)
I’m “blind in one eye and can’t see out of the other”. My neighbors and my cats will appreciate the 9mm if I ever have to use it at home. Doubt I will - running and hiding are prioritized over shooting;$

I’ve had one for about 5 years now. Very, very easy to shoot well and the barrel length seems to juice the 9mm rounds a bit, much less drop over 100 yards. Much easier to run than an AR for inexperienced shooters.

Thanks for the video... I was fortunate to buy a nice used CX4 in 9mm a year ago for a great price. Takes '92' mags so I have some in 15, 20, and 30 round. Did some careful DIY trigger work. A Bushnell TRS-25 red dot will cowitness the factory sites when mounted near the rear sight... A lot of fun to shoot and reliable like most Berettas.

Your welcome and thanks for watching/commenting. I appreciate your continuing support. I agree I think its a great gun and enjoy mine everytime I take it out. Reliabilty has always been top notch as well.

You can have the barrel threaded after purchase. The threaded barrel restriction is only for the import itself. For example, the Russian VEPR rifles come with a "permanently" attached muzzle thread protector that can be removed by the end user legally, if they have the tools and know-how.

Excellent video. Just purchased a 9mm yesterday. Waiting to get it at FFL. You are the first review to mention that getting the barrel threaded might get me a knock from the ATF. Thank you for that. Think I'll leave it stock

    Do it again!
I received mine in 2021 with FDE furniture. I very much like the contrast of black controls on brown.
It is my understanding that the trigger has been improved.

While I do understand what people say about it I agree with you. It really is not that bad. It does perform as well as it needs to.

Yup, these are great. I have one...got lucky picking it up before the crud started and mounted a Vortex Strikefire II to get it up above the sights for a full view. It's very reliable, shoots smooth and accurate. If you can find one, I would not hesitate to grab it up.

They have a new version that is out now...Not sure what all the changes are, but one way to easily tell is that the area around the safety is different.
I just picked one up a new one the other day, but finding the bolt to be very stiff. I am also having issues with rounds cycling. Just running snap caps right now, but they are not feeding or ejecting properly. Not sure if it is the bolt or the magazine giving problems or both. Hopefully lubing the gun will help.
