Ah man I love when I build a ship and realize the weight as soon as I try to take it within earth's gravity but then it's too late because I cheaped out and made the ship underpowered
I once made a terrible ship (still new and cant build even to this day) and tried to escape earth... Ran out of fuel a quarter of the way off the planet and began rapidly approaching the planet at mach 2.
@@TinyDragonGamer250 Oh man, I had the opposite problem! Spent way too much time grinding in survival to make a ridiculously overpowered and overfueled small grid ship to get into orbit. Turns out I got the maths waaaay wrong. It was HORRENDOUS to grind down when I had to recycle it D:
@@theimprovisedmanfriends204 I'm not sure about creative mode (I don't use it much) but you need to make sure the Parachutes are loaded with canvas and they can be set to trigger at a set height or set to trigger manually.

Cheaping out in transportation never goes well
@@TinyDragonGamer250may I introduce our lord and savior parachute?
Your bestbet would have been to flip and burn and to hover on your rear thrusters. You definitely would have been light enough to do that as well
XD i love the 3 large hydrogen thrusters that couldve stopped the crash lmao
True😮
And the fifty ion thrusters pointed the same way. All of which unused at all
@@thefiresworddragon927ion thrusters don’t work in atmosphere. They were just dead weight here
@@fissilepear7805 They work in atmosphere, just really badly.
SO TRUE
A demonstration on how every ship can enter gravity at least once.
But it doesn’t have to exit.
"another happy landing"
A good land is where you lived, and a perfect landing is where you get to keep your ship.
Any landing that doesn’t blow up your hydrogen tank is a good landing.
Remember to use the space engineers thrust calculator, i always add 1-2 extra thrusters than what it recommends tho
Have to be sure. Just... Have to.
Yeah you landed just like I do... LMAO
Great ship design, you can use it at least once
How there was more than enough trust on your back. If gyroscope still works, rotate ship nearly 90 degrees top (pull up). Press W. Pray
Pray. Yep, sound about right for every ship I've built in SE... Followed by the obligatory "Oh no" the second you realize your fucked
@@sachunsky followed by closing the game --> reload last save before 100 hours is lost

whats your biggest building in your spaceport?.....the memorialhall......who doesnt know it.....
I honestly expected a perfect landing
I see the problem! Your left thruster wasn't working! lol
Yes! I think I was paying more attention to that than the actual speed of descent 🤣
And this is why we always add a parachute to our ships
Any landing you can walk away from is a successful landing
Another happy landing
"Any landing you can walk away from"
Nice one Launchpad Mc Quack!
we may be reading different dictionaries...
Another happy landing :)
if that was me I would have aimed the ship into the sky and used the large gas based engines to save the craft.
Perfect
Land: come to rest after falling or being thrown.
Yeah, it is certainly at rest. Good job.
Nice landing! I guess you will be fitting parachutes next time lol
I thought I fitted 2 of them, but it was a big lump of Frankenstein really as I just wanted to get off the moon for a bit 😁

@@TheMrShinagami creative mode doesnt need to have parachutes in the blocks, they will deploy regardless
Sixty percent of the time, it works every time!
Nailed it.
Someone forgot giros :D
You forgot to put it into park
Creative mode be like:
are you ok ?
the thrusters couldve slowed you down you know
Please pitch back next time
I've seen worse landings in SE!
