I go through a couple long boxes before pulling the trigger on this one. I discuss some keys and decide which books will be going to CGC for grading.

3:20 That ant-man hip hop cover has heated up recently
Your comment introduced me to those hip hop variants. Not only do I love the look of then, but I found 3 in my lcs. 2 ants, 1 wolverine. All going for around $50.
Great collection. Secret Secret Wars 2 variant is first cover appearance of Gwenpool. Not sure if it's also first Lady Deadpool.

Nice! I finally bought the whole "Batman: Year One" run to add to my collection. All newsstand copies. Not huge, I know, but still pretty neat for a bat-fan like myself, imo.

So many keys and little keys in this collection. The owner was obviously an avid collector. I almost feel bad for him selling his collection. Hopefully he used the cash to buy more comics!

I would be very interested in how you clean and press the books you find. CGC charges a lot to do it themselves. I have many books that I need this done to so there is a chance to save quite a bit
To clean a book you want a dry cleaning sponge or a good eraser. Very gently wipe in one direction try to stay away from colored areas. Be extremely careful around the edges. To press buy a t-shirt press on Ebay or Amazon..... There are tons of videos about cleaning and pressing on UA-cam just look it up I started months ago and it works great... Practice on garbage books 1st.
I used to have a first silver age riddler but the cover wasn’t attached. I watched the whole video + all the ads for ya bro! Nice collection man!!!
Now THIS was a collection worth buying. As soon as I see Silver and Bronze Age X-Men my eyes get a little wider. I'd love to get a copy on Uncanny #100 as the one I bought off a spinner rack is a beater. Avengers 196 is another comic I got for cover price and one small pandemic blessing is there's still time to get it slabbed. Mine is probably a 9.4. I think you want to sell it before the movie, not after. Villain keys rarely continue to rise.

Awesome find! Can you give me some advice. Over a year ago I sent out some books to cgc for the first time. My dumb ass did not get them cleaned or pressed. One of the books was a teen titans 12 and it unfortunately came back a 9.0. What option do you think I could make more money from? Selling the 9.0 slab as it is or cracking the slab open and sell it raw.
Check the graders notes. Maybe all of the defects can be fixed with a press. Then it would be worth it

Sold my physical collection back in the eighties for £25,000, when I need a house extension for my growing family. Loft and garage filled with physical comics. Worth a lot more but only one realistic bidder. Digital only these days.

That Marvel Super- Heroes 20 is a quadruple key issue , I think it’s going to be big it’s the 1st ever solo doom story , 1st Appearance Of Valeria , First Solo Doom Cover & A Unique Origin Not Told In the FF annual Aswel As It Being A Classic Cover lol , major book haha 🔥

Me and my wife have been buying small collections and lots here in Michigan and it’s tough people post there comics on the fb marketplace or on Craig’s list and then you ask them how much they either don’t have a price or if they do when people inquire about them they say they need to look everything up and still never come back with a price. Or you’ll get the 3k for 500 comics that are all dollar bin comics. My wife and I are more of comic hoarders I’m always building runs only selling duplicates and titles we don’t collect.The east coast must be a lot better for buying. The Midwest is rough. Great collection I’m definitely envious on that whole new 52 runs. :)
same deal here in RI/Mass/Conn. Or they get stuck on the internet/ebay price of a 9.8. When they clearly do not have it that good.

I paid somewhere between $1100-$1200 I think. It was a month ago. I forgot. I've been trying to get that info out there in the videos. I just forgot in this one

I've been going back and forth on selling my collection lately. Debts and potentially moving to a tiny apartment in Japan soon... but after organizing the collection and now sucked back into UA-cam comic videos, I think I'd rather keep collecting. :D Especially when thinking about how shops and such would probably offer me like 1/20th of the actual worth. :\
