The SB also allows the Conq to play as a complete turtle because of the S.Block frames on dash into bash. A match can quickly devolve to a Conq spamming SB over and over again. If the Conq is punished for a SB once or twice, he can turtle and eventually whittle you down. In essence, anyway.

While I like the normal "knightly" armour style I also like that there seems to be a more "desert-warrior" like set (the one with the white hood)... looks like he wants protection from the sun which makes sense historically since Crusaders... you know were crusading in the holy land and fought in hot/desert areas too. This also makes him more exotic and distinguishes him from the other knights whose style is mostly central-european-like and Roman.
Yeah no knight has really nailed the crusader vibe before. Warden is the closest but I think this guy will take the cake hands down. He really sells the warrior monk vibe
In the dev stream they said that Vortiger's executions would involve his shield. Most characters' executions involve one of their abilities so I'm thinking that Vortiger has a light chain attack that has him slash with the side of his shield.

If they did this it should be 1 or 2 blocks every life, like you can block a unblockable 2 times and then for u to have those 2 blocks again you'll have to die and respawn

The title protector and counter attacker is very interesting. Sounds like he will be good at countering obviously. But the title protector and not defender is more open ended, less focused on being an ultimate defense/ more focused on taking the initiative and showing aggression, yet still being a source of aggro/harassing I would assume. Will be interesting
So the default outfit the character will look like when they're released is. The hood and crown combo since you can see his head and body in the arms customization and his arms and head in the chest customization how the other characters have the default greyed out body parts when customizing
If u really think about it common gear is the same as legendary, if u keep a common and then have a legendary just put them side by side and see the difference it’s literally only stats and the only thing with legendary is that it adds more things on it like more color or item

I think the spikes might be for a bleed mechanic wether they cause bleed or he sharpens his blade on them to give him the bleed effect of x number of seconds
Since all of these Shields have the Sawtooth Edges at the same area, and you see him Grind his Sword along it in the trailer, I fucking bet my firstborn, that he has a mechanic to grind his sword and it'll give him a temporal Bleed Buff, for like the next hit only, or the next two? Im telling you, he'll have something going with those
He has Counter attacker and protector, if he has enough defense to protect others, then he should have enough to turn it around into offense, which is part of the heavy role, pray he has such mechanics for that.

Black priar seems to have been a bit of a far traveling crusader during their self-imposed exile. With all of the armors that seem to not have come from the main legions of the knights.
I do not want Black prior to be high damage. The best way to outfit his kit would be a chipper like warlord. And able to survive a gank. Like Lawbro is the king of parrying, BP should be the king of full guarding. I don't want him to be a one combo wonder like berserker and highlander. Make him a thinker's character like nobushi, shinobi, or gladiator.
What if the Vortiger uses the spikes on the sides of his shield to deflect attacks with? I think that would be a cool addition to his kit and playstyle.
Yeah I'd love that. My favourite part about conq is the fact that his dodges block and bash like a deflect. If vortiger had something similar or better I wouldn't play any other hero

The reason you don't see to many is they're all commons the tester (I'd guess it's a tester) who leaked this wasn't high enough rep for better stuff
