If you check out the abilities added in this patch, the mage's Advanced Warding ability says it does a lot more than the rune tooltip says. It makes wards castable on other people and makes your decurse also dispel a magic effect.
I submitted a "bug" back in December stating that the wings on my meta form wasn't applying the slow-fall effect kinda as a joke. It's cool to see them implementing it!
damn, wish they responded to ANY of the bugs regarding rogue stealth lol.
Couldn't agree more.. there's no good reason to not allow meta form demon wings to work like demon hunters' wings in retail, or at least grant a short term slow fall on a cooldown.

That burn rune for sham will be big for sham tank aoe. Atm u can only really get 2 flame shocks off before its drops off the first target. Now u can have 6 fame shocks ticking and reseting molten blast. They basically just tripled the molten blast reset rate.

With block and mitigation looking needed, we need buffs to runes that focus on that. As pally main, Aegis needs a chance to reset colldown on judgemet and avengers shield (like retail) on block/parry/dodge, maybe 20-30%?

i hope they don't put Titan's grip, i think the ability to dual wield 2 handers is the stupidest shit they ever put in the game. 1 handers for fury and 2 handers for arms is how it should be

No kidding, Chaos Bolt was a breath of fresh air by not being a mega server. It feels like tbc all over again with the exception of blizzard killing the server right away instead of letting slowly die(assuming that’s what their data says). Im definitely conflicted whether to keep playing or not after suffering tbc and wrath launch server mismanagement and now this.

So does that mean they are going to rework Druid runes so that Mangle is on a different slot from Lacerate? Because that rune is borderline useless (the extra rage helps that now) without swapping things around so you can do mangle and lacerate.
I'm at the point of calling for whoever is in charge of developing feral runes, to be fired or given another task.
I hoped they would fix guardian druid, but my copium is running really low.

I would assume mana shield will have a solid usage in larger scale pvp. Deep freeze will always be better in a duel or arena, but there are no arenas. Just a potentially small fight. Probably good to have a 2nd helm and swap a lot.
Rogues have become "homunculi" In other news Blizzard is killing off Chaos Bolt server.
I would love an explanation from the devs, and possibly a change of mind, about closing Chaos Bolt (PvP) and only giving us 2 options for transfers, Lava Lash (PvE), or Crusaders Strike (PvP) that is over pop, has some lagging and layering issues already. Please just give us more options for transfers, and another transfer to/for people who have already began to transfer (or trying to with coding issues), so guilds and groups can stay together if they end up giving us more options.

Our guild on Penance has been blind clearing new raids since the start of SoD and it has been sooo much fun. Sure, there have been a couple of challenges at times, but the feeling of clearing a raid is so much better and reminds me of the early days of WoW again. I hope you enjoy the same experience when you try.
We have also been doing the raids blind for the first 2 phases it’s the best

And it's so good to see that they're trying to balance the classes a bit better. Started playing a balance druid towards the end of this phase, and felt a bit underpowered everywhere except pvp.
Casting spells at bosses felt like winding and hyping yourself up for ~3 seconds just to slap the enemy with a wet rag, and sometimes the rag was even dry.
And I dont even wanna get started with aoe 😂 Hurricane feels like spending a thousand dollars of a huge massive fireworks show, and when you finally lit up the fuse, it just puffed and sprayed a bunch of smoke and sparkles a few feet up in the air for 10 seconds.
Bruh it costs like 900 mana and has a 60 second cooldown. And the "utility" it serves isnt really useful either with that kind of mana cost and cooldown. 550 mana and 30 second cooldown would be way more balanced for utility purposes.
Also, the Elune's Fires rune feels VERY similar to glyph of starfire/glyph of shred from wrath, but distributed to all specs in a single rune. So i guess a lot of druid mains are gonna already be familiar with it.

Mage Rune increasing the Fire/Frost Wards and Mana Shield = easier boosting! Gives a lot of variability, especially in SM
Fingers crossed for Heroic Leap and Bladestorm for P4. I will be MASSIVELY dissapointed if we dont get that for warriors.

My Problem wasn't even the Gold Sink for the recipies itself, it was how it got transportated. I csn live with the fact that my Alt couldn't get a mount this Phase since I couldn't effort it and wouldn't just go and farm just for that. The Problem was, that I was thinking "Oh there will be no Gold Issues at all, I can already effort the mount since its 50% cheaper and still have Gold left" and then they came with "Yo, it's now normal price again" which also was fine but then "well, this costs you just another 100g for 2 recipie items" (very early in the phase at least, the mat prices was that high) and this was just too much. I even planned to abonded my Alt entirely before they made the Discount Changes because of that.
So I'm really happy now, that I know now beforehand what I've to expect as Gold Sinks.
You know the mounts were out back tit he cheap pride right? And you could’ve just spent a day questing at 40 to afford the full pride one befor the change.
I assumed zesty clam meat would go up in price next phase because it is required for cooking so i bought like 500 of it for 50c per item (worst case scenario i have a lot of clam chowder next phase). they are already 7 silver each just for the meat itself which is 30g+ profit, not much but its fun.
are the logs for ab rep staying in for phase 3 does anyone know

The sod team is killing it. All of this stuff is so creative and fresh. It’s like they’re actually thinking like how the old Blizzard used to where it’s more like what would be really cool to add instead of just thinking about keeping us grinding. They’re also listening to us and keeping in touch with us, it feels like the old blizzard again. Absolutely having a blast.

Melee hunter had absolutely nothing in pvp survi or bm being unplayable, doing 30% dmg before you die vs all classes if you managed to even reach them..
@@shifterashtongue2684I'm a BM melee hunter and have much fewer issues in pvp than you'd think. Sometimes I just beat people at range with the pet and my shots, other times people charge me because they think I'm a ranged hunter.
I'm starting to get decently geared too so that might be a factor in not being a push over.😊

The fact that they changed Gore to add the rage gain but DIDN'T remove the part about Lacerate being one of the abilities that can reset the Mangle cooldown makes me think they are shifting runes around so that Mangle and Lacerate are not on the same rune slot. Like why would they specifically make a change to that rune but leave the Lacerate/Mangle interaction in there if they weren't gonna separate them?

yep! that SW:Death nerf solidified our irrelevancy dmg wise in pve. pvp has never been balanced… so yeah. then the argument of “hybrid” spec thematically never being top.. but look at shammy who can tank, top dps, & insta heals.
its not fair! we need our gear to scale better. Our rotation is much more complex than the melee hunter two ability and we dont get compensated for the extra effort
@@PeetskeetShadow priests provide much more raid utility than hunters. Makes sense hunters do more dps, since that's all they can do.

As a warrior main I have very mixed feeling about seeing Gald stance come to the game. To me it still feels like warrior will just still be played in the same way it was in vanilla even with this being included. I feel like warriors need a rune that can change the play style of the class more than just them trying to force us to put a shield on…
They should do something with slam instead of relegating it to another instant attack. It was clearly intended to be a big slow heavy attack when first added to the game 20 years ago. Give us a rune that incentivizes casting slams; make the swing interruption worth it.
You will wear a shield. Don’t play a warrior if you can’t play it with a shield

nobody forces you to play with a shield, y'all warriors were crying for glad stance, so here it is
Gladiator Stance will definitely change the play style of Warrior. That being said, Warriors will not be forced to use a shield. Arms and Fury will most likely still have a leg up, and Gladiator Stance will be fun for the players that enjoy the play style.

I really don't understand the rogue sword. Sprinting off a proc is super random. If it was an on use effect it would make more sense.
Would clash with other on use items probably?
@TheComebackKids no clue but I just have no idea how I would make use of it. Such an odd choice for an effect for a rogue. Especially when mutilate/daggers are meta right now. If I could gouge, proc sprint on use (like I already have) then create distance and use hit between eyes and quick draw or poison knife it makes more sense. But a random proc just feels weird.
@@imunfathomable its entirely within the spirit and theme of what vanilla wow was. Non-optimized with alot of random goofy items with goofy effects. I like it!

Can we get attention of Aggreng about Ret paladins, they told they listen and make improvements, and we still forced to chose between Seal of martyr and Divene storm, and have absolutely runes like horn, aegis. Really no response.

They missed so hard with the rogue poison thing. You literally have tos who off your dps poison to use it. Just let them “imbue” there current poison with an extra affect.

How hard can it be to do good and fun MM hunter runes? Mages get hot streak, which you need to be fire specced and have pyroblast to use. Just give us lock and load that works similarly as hot streak. Like to crits in a row and you get an instant aimed shot. They have done that in many expansions with the lock and load. It's both fun and a little bit rng but I love getting those instant aimed shot procs! :D

Both of the runes for feral dps are absolutely terrible. Maybe a 3% dps increase while other classes are feasting. Such a slap in the face to all my cat brothers out there
I agree, if nothing else hidden pops up or adjustments to brings us up a bit, my guild would have to go in the new raid without a feral, not going to keep struggling with it.
Alliance ferals just need to protest. The entire alliance community will fight for us if they can't get their precious windfury 😂

@zerodas3293 it's not Unlimited energy. In the current state, you can power shift maybe four or five times in a fight. That's 80-100 more energy from wolfshead through a fight. 2 shreds

The only thing that really sucks is Feral dps not getting impactful changes and them making a rune to get a reset on mangle is a slap in the face after they nerfed it phase 2. So now i'm forced to change my class as I've not enjoyed raiding on feral dps this phase.

FINALLY Frost Mage is addressed!!!! Frozen Orb wont fix everything but it is a gigantic buff!!!

I have mained rogue tank from day 1. Not only have i had no issues with survival and threat i have been told many MANY times that compared to other tanks i just straight up take less dmg. I think the problem with rogue tanks is that people try to hard to do dps as a tank. That goes for all tanks, whilst its good to still do good dmg you shouldn't be trying to do the BEST dmg in your raid by sacrificing 100HP for 7str/7agi etc.

Even in fights were we can stand still for the entire encounter (Grubbis), ranged hunter DPS is crap. We need more than just a tweak to the sniper training rune. Did melee hunter really need another buff?

What about penance on Oceanic? Couldnt log onto the character you created for 2-3 hours, forced to play on shadow strike

Have you seen or heard of the Secret Agents in SoD? I saw my first 2 dressed in all black standing up on top of the wall in Arathi before you do the last turn ins for the sleeping bag chain quest. Crazy things about it was, they were level 77, one of them was humanoid, the other was classified as a beast! I've seen screenshots of other Secret agents hidden outside Uldaman etc. If you get too close they say " we've got friends" and vanish. Why are they watching us? What could they be hiding? Are they like the men in black? Will they wipe our "memories" of SoD when it's over before we get transferred to their " special place " blizzard mentioned? There is little to no information on these Secret agents so who knows!

About the WSG rep comment slightly confused about the struggle to get to revered all you need to do is go do the Ashenvale event. It's done in a few minutes then you can log out. You don't even have to do anything you can just tag the boss then go afk. It's really fast if you are off work you'd only need to spend like 30 mins on a Saturday and Sunday and you'd get thousands of rep every week.
About exalted yeah it's a little bit painful but if you started doing the weekly quest at the start of P2 from revered you're almost half-way there already without even setting foot in WSG. It takes 5-10 minutes once a week - might as well do it.
They may have opened Chaos Bolt transfers to another server... A Smaller Server, Either a Smaller Server Or the HUGE toxic server. Cover Chaos Bolt move.
It would be nice if they would change where using a potion doesn’t remove bear tanks out of bear form and would be nice to tank the class requirement off rage potions to help bear tanks
They should do that for all forms when I power shift in cat form to drink a potion when I go back into form there goes 50% of the mana I just potted for

Advanced warding for mages is sick aoe farming gonna be insane. SM cath runs will be easy with imp frost warding and imp mana sheild, along with other farms

I feel like the Way of Earth change takes away from the tank Shaman without fixing some of the issues that have been there since the beginning. Yes, they are amazing at tanking, but mana is a constant problem for Shaman tank, basically have to downrank all your shocks if you don't want to be OOM in 30 seconds against a single target and that doesn't feel like it should be the intended way to play any class. No, the mana return on shield blocking does not fix this, there are many mob and boss types that do not do melee hit or have extremely slow hit rates, and a 1 in 20 chance that you block and get 5% of your mana back every time they take a swing at you is no good. This means you get basically 0 mana returned from an entire rune (as well as 0 additional armor because you're not blocking fast enough to stack up the armor buff), so you might as well put something else on that is useful, like dual wield. Prior, I'd go dual wield against caster bosses or easy 5 mans because honestly, didn't make sense to have a shield up that does nothing for me. Now I'll be forced to have a shield up that does nothing for me.
Fix the mana and blocking against caster problem and I'll be fine with the Way of Earth change. Make it so shield rune returns mana to the Shaman based on amount they get healed rather than when they happen to block and that'll at least make it somewhat useful.

I would love to join the horde guild, they allowed free transfers onto cs from chaos bolt but it got all messed up , but I’ll be trying to get there if I can . However I do want to be in a main core group , not a side line like I am on my current guild being kicked out the group pretty much for friends or others apart of other mc groups I. Guild

Dude engineering is already OP in classic they dont need anything else. They need to do more with secondary professions like fishing cooking and first aid
mana shield rune will be targeted towards Arcane mages in pve/pvp, for frost its about control and not really about your ability to negate damage, so I could see frost still taking deep freeze over it.
can warrior tho like people get some new runes not just runes of past spells we have seen before. and no more passive shit.

There’s no chance the Tail of Eranikus will ship with that setup. It’s a carbon copy of OEB. Can’t be right.
Additionally, Rockbiter appears to have been nerfed by approximately 90%. Shaman tank might really struggle next phase unless an Elemental Fury/Flurry combo works out or somethin. Threat is gunna be low due to low dmg
As much as I would love instant mail to be able to move mats/gold between characters, I think removing the 1 hour delay would be bad for the overall server economy. If I log in for raid 30 minutes before start and realize I need to replenish consumes, I can't just hope on an alt to craft for myself. I have to buy from the AH which I believe supports a healthy economy rather than players who have alts with every profession taking care of themselves.
