Does the drop rate only work on the solo farm, or can I continue to run 10-man and hope for a high drop chance after about 200 runs? I am currently at about 170 princess kills, no dagger so far
I got this on my spriest just now p4. Yes I'm 60 - about 5 mins a run 2 mins run in 3 mins mara kill.. I did only about 15 solo runs on this spriest alt.. And today 2nd run my WORST run died nearly 3x just not paying attention.. the blade drops... There is HOPe just keep going . I had in my mind I was going to do over 300 solo runs for this. Or until end of SOD. It's honestly just pure luck... Go until ya get it
My guildmate did 130 runs before it got buffed and then pretty quick, its kind of lame of a buff imo. Warrior doesnt really have anything like this, but if we did, and it just got massively buffed after I did 200 runs to get it, I'd be salty and that's just human nature, it's not fair

260 runs for me for 2 daggers. Keep at it man. Its a 2% chance with each drop, so it could take a while. Focus on getting your runs more and more efficient, lower kill times, and tracking the gold you're making. Make it a game - as fun as possible. Suddenly you find you enjoy the kills...then the dagger drops. GOOD LUCK MAN!
I believe they nerfed this farm somewhat as of tonight (4/19) princess seems to move faster or not stutter step as much, I'm clearing on boomie and my cleared went from 4 mins to almost 7. Multiple ppl in the instance also messaged me saying the same thing when I asked about it in Mara general chat.

I'm weird in that I prefer a small guild of friends. Most of my guild members are people I've met IRL and chat with regularly, so its a small bunch. Sometimes I'm the only one online. The game overall is going off though. If you're in IF or SW around 6pm the layers are packed with people.

is there a specific circumstance in which she casts her bolder? im trying to solo it for 2 days now and i just keep dying because shes throwing so much bolders at me, i cant always blink. in the end she just keeps up and kills me. i already got minor move speed on my boots but is there something im missing?

She stops walking for a moment before she casts, so you can increase your distance just a bit. If she starts her cast within around 25 yards you will have to blink. Good references are your counterspell (30 yard range) and fireblast (26 yard range). Hope this helps!
Yes, I did 131 runs as SOLO Ele sham. (Need invis pots for 2nd packs of gators and taunt / fire totems to take aggro of giants) ALOT HARDER. But rthe dagger is amazing.

Drop rate is the drop rate - so you have the same chance of seeing it whether you're grouped or solo. The issue of course is competition!

I mean mages don't have anything like TF. I hear you about the adjusted rate though. I did over 200 runs prior to the rate buff.

Having the heal rune on boots helps alot with dealing with unlucky boulders like that

So sorry I know zero about Shamans. The general rule is it procs off direct damage spells and abilities.
