    Great video. I’m just learning this form, good speed and great explanations. There seems to be slight variations from country to country. Thanks, it’ll help me through to my next grading hopefully. Learning online due to COVID.

    Thank you , blue belt here, TSD in the UK . I'm just going back into training again after a 14yr break, now in my 60s so just trying to remember and refresh my memory on all forms . This is the best example I've seen so far thank you Nim .

    Just graded to green belt this Saturday and learned this form for the first time yesterday. I needed an in depth video to remember everything though so I can practice it properly. Thank you!

    I've got to do this for my blue belt at the end of the month. This is the first form that's really difficult for me

      Hopefully this video is helpful. This form stumps students at first because the form introduces paired techniques, reverse techniques, and kicks finally show up. Thanks for watching!

    I appreciate the walk through and the use of Korean terms. Thank you. Like others I notice slight variations but the story told by the form is very similar across each of them.

      Even among the Okinawan and Japanese styles there are multiple variations of this form, as well as the rest of the Pyung Ahn series. Thanks for watching!

    That's kinda funny to compare hyungs differences between France and the USA
    Nice video thought that remembered my katas after the three first moves
    Haven't seen all video already but I hope you did show the Bassai Dai Hyungs would need to remember those lil' bitches they were particularly long

      Thank you! Yes, always some interesting regional differences. Still working on recording the "How to" version of Bassai Dae. Hopefully can start editing it and out in February. Until then, I do have my link below for Bassai Dae at a normal pace. Thanks for watching!

    It reminds me of palgwe 4.why????

    • @Rockholdkarate
      @Rockholdkarate  Рік тому +1

      Great question! Just a quick scratching of the surface, it looks like Palgwe 4 was definitely inspired by Pyung Ahn Ee Dan, which are the older forms also known as Pinan (Okinawan) and Heinan (Japanese). Thanks for watching!👍
