Back in the Eighties when they were in their prime, I used to listen to Dancing Undercover constantly in a loop. At the time I was obsessed with their style and sound!
I went to their concert back in 1984 they opened up for Peter Frampton. That was back when concerts had a meaning. These young kids today performing. Could never keep up with the 80s hard rock.
Pearcy hasn't sounded this good since the 80s. Wish Blotz was there.

No kidding. Surprised as every other video I had seen he sounded awful, so pleasant surprise, even if it is hit or miss. On this he sounds great.
Think they were a little out of practice when started now getting very tight.Use it or lose it thing .Good thing they got Original drummer out of the way.
Too bad everyone can't bury the damn hatchet. Bobby is passionate about Ratt music and wanted to take it to the people. The money and the lawyers ruined it IMHO.
They killed it that night was there !!!! Traveled three hours for that show !
Band is sounding killer! Warren realky kicks into gear at Lack of Communication after the pedal change. He cuts through the mix nice n crisp!
LC his soldano power tubes failed and he switched to his old Marshall
Bummer...Those Soldano super leads are a damn beast...

Other than Warren's guitar issues around Lack of Communication and 2 other songs that didn't sound right as result - best RATT show I've heard and watched in a long, long time...seems like they finally taking pride again in the music and live shows - only good things to come I hope!!

Maybe SP got sick of the comments from more fans than less on how his vocals sucked. This is a really respectable effort. After so many painfully poor off key performances, this is like a breath of fresh air. Thank you Stephen!

They really should add some Infestation songs to their setlist, especially with them wanting to put out another album in 2018, they could turn people on to the last one they did which had that old Ratt sound.

This is the best they sounded in 10 years- too bad what has happened since then, with Warren and Carlos out of the band. Love the way they played the "Tough" solo, a nice tribute to King!
They sound amazing!! (Though the Bass player could really dial his "moves" back a bit. He dances around like somebody's Dad at a wedding :) Overall, it's wonderful to see them perform at such a polished, tight, and professional level these days!! Thanks very much for sharing this video!!

What everyone has to remember but seems to forget is that Juan Croucier (bassist/back vocals) IS BACK! for more! Juan was a crucial role in this band. Not knocking whoever played in his spot when he went away, but its obvious things come back together (Pearcy gets disciplined on vocals with a coach or whatever, probably due to Juans input and Pearcy respecting that) Nobody in this current lineup is a "B" rated musician (Carlos Cavazo Quiet Riot fame and forgot the drummers name again but he's always well sought after and respected in these circles) Juan's backing vocals are essential and believe it or not his playmanship and showmanship are very, very crucial to the original Ratt sound. You add that with naturally playing back together again show after show daily and nightly, your gonna get these guys to sound great again. Great job guys!!! One complaint, the mix on this one a bit rough Cavazo non existent guitar audio-wise especially during his solos, Warrens levels are completely drowning him out....and Warren a bit shakey (Your in Love guitar solo) but over all. Warren is still kicking major ass! (Loving You is A Dirty Job/Slip of the Lip - Warrens guitar playing throughout is top notch and classic him)

28:29 It's a shame a (what I'm guessing) preamp tube failed on Warren's Soldano right around one of his best solos. But, it's moments like these that are gentle reminders that the real musicians are actually playing, and not strumming along to a backing track like some modern pop stars are. I know it seems obvious that Ratt plays live, but ever increasingly, live musical equipment failures or goofs at concerts are a comfort to me for these reasons. Glad I got to see them live, and I look forward to my next Ratt concert.
I agree, I don't mind the goofs. Music is real and it blows tubes,mics go dead,and strings break. These guys are pros keep right on rockin....

I seen Ratt in the heyday and they never sounded this good. Truthfully the only thing missing is a bunch of 20 year olds that are now 40 year olds.
rob dolbey dude, I'm 40 and my first concert was Ratt in 1989, so I'm pretty sure they are in their late 50s or so cause that concert was like 28 years ago

I have to disagree. I saw them on their Dancing Undercover tour years ago and it was perfection! I wish I had an audio or visual recording of that show! They had this incline on the stage where they could climb up like a hill. It was one of the best shows I ever saw or heard since!
Here they sound pretty good! It seems like a comeback since the state of current rock is so bad. They sound brilliant by comparison except for Jack White and GVFleet!

It's a shame that they will never reach arena status again. Saw them in St . Louis in the late 80s. Sounded 100xs better than this.
the only thing is they're too normally dressed, except maybe SP. they look like they're dress like guys at the bar. they should be wearing rock star metal gear.
I’ve always loved Ratt. Jimmy Degrasso isn’t grooving very well at all. These songs should groove way better. He’s playing drums like a total white guy.
