For anyone following the dispute between Ratt‘s members over official use of the band name, you can can rest easy as it all appears to have come to an end. Now, after a court ruling, original members singer Stephen Pearcy, guitarist Warren DeMartini and bassist Juan Croucier have regained control over the Ratt moniker, ousting drummer Bobby Blotzer in the process.

RATT. One of my all time favorites alongside Iron Maiden, Metal Church and Overkill. That groove !!! So great to see Stephen who is ALIVE. I thought it was all over after those recent alcohol infested performances. It really doesn´t matter what Blotzer does, RATT is Warren DeMartini on guitars and Stephen´s voice. Plain and simple. Stephen, stay sober, otherwise it´s just instrumental...
RATT really started rolling in 84 when I was 16 in highschool still one of my favorite bands of all time, Warren is a guitar god absolute LEGEND. Warren Demartini and Eddie my personal favorites. Never gets old.
I never was a big fan of Ratt but If i had been on that balcony close enough to hear Lay it Downs opening riff I swear I wouldve nose dived into the sea...wot in hells name is wrong with the audience..Im personally dun with giging coz Ive grown..sick of even sharing the same airspace at in venues with boring stationery cretins...damn fucken so called metalheads ..Turkeys on Boxing day..leftovers from better times....poor Ratt is on fire here...working hard
Sounding great here..felt sorry for the fans who showed up for Rio though. Maybe they could come down a key for nobody rides for free, dance etc to accommodate Seps difficulty with the higher end stuff..alot of older artists do it ..no reason why Ratt shouldn't ..

wow....is it just me or does Stephen Pearcy sound damn good on this here cruise man??....I have watched numerous vids of RATT'S and it seemed he blew out his voice quite some time ago...but on every vid I've watched from this cruise he sounds like he should for his age, life style, etc.....obviously not hitting all the notes but he has that edge to his voice that I have missed and is killing it!!!...so freakin cool!!!....these guys have to get the rights to the RATT name/brand that Blotzer is hijacking with his cover band and TOUR!!!!!!!!

+Boris Karloff This is what a lot of people keep saying about Don Dokken but ever since their reunion..I don't care how his voice sounds, they have never sounded better...I'd rather listen, see, and sing to the real singer of a band rather than a replacement...cause it's how I remember them...So, even if Stephen's voice isn't up to par, I mean come on, you're talking about 20-30 years ago or so..anyone would lose their voice after all that...They do sound better than ever with Pearcy...you can replace a drummer no problem but I have always said, when you replace the singer, the band will never be the same cause you trying to kick out or let go the heart and soul of a band....Also a big fan of Warren's...and he's still rippin it :P

When I hear stories from his band (all of whom were in diapers during RATT's heyday) talking about casual fans telling THEM their cherished stories about their first RATT concert back in the 80's, etc., etc. without realizing the dudes AREN'T even original, though taking credit, pisses me off.

Great performance! I thought they were done. I don't know about Carlos Cavazo. He has too much talent to be in the background. He is as good a guitar player as Warren playing lead. But then again... this is Warren's band... i'm just sayin... Pearcy's voice sounds MUCH better! This is the best I've heard his voice in the 4-5 years!

I caught on a recent interview that he is now clean and sober. Did another stint in rehab. I think that explains a lot of things.

No he is leagues better than he has been. He sounds actually very good. He has been totally shot for awhile. This is refreshing and solid!
