even without input delay monster maw has got to be one of the most fucked things they've ever put in rhythm heaven like holy shit you do not want to do the monkey watch version
Exhibition Match always got me, there's, what, nine button presses? You need to get quite a few of them perfect and each time you miss you just get to watch it slooooowly sink further in and hope you get it on the next hit.
@@peaberry9413 extreme sports was one of the last things i completed in this game, just because of that. in addition to my 3ds, i had to use an additional 2ds just to give myself a better chance of getting the ace, which is how i beat it.
I personally called it a day as soon as I perfected every game. Haven't gone back to playing it since. Boy do I not want anything to do with that third wave of challenges
monster maw monkey watch was the thing that made me rage quit from completing the rest of the challenge train levels 😔
extreme sports is fun until you reach exhibition match. i do NOT have that kind of precision

Fun Fact: The onions you trim in Rhythm Tweezers are the same type you feed to the goat at the cafe, as well as the ones collected by the Stomp Farmer in Rhythm Heaven DS. These hairy vegetables have quite the journey.
there should be a cooking minigame for rhythm heaven with those onions, or planting minigame for growing the onyons

Okay, I literally have seen no one mention this ever, but Tangotronic 3000 is absolutely based off the Mii channel theme. Seriously, listen to them back to back and you should be able to tell very easily. It's an insane thing I noticed when playing Megamix a ton as a teen and just... No one ever mentions it.
During the livestream chat blew up with comments about how it sounded like Mii Channel, you are not alone

Filibots 2 here is the same as Filibots 1 DS, Filibots 2 DS had the small bots, turned off the lights, and is literally the longest non-remix in the series, only being shorter than Remix 10 DS, and the final three remixes in this game.
I think the only returning game they changed outright was Fan Club 2 if memory serves, as well as making Endless Remix from Wii into Songbird Remix, if you caught that ;)
Original Fillbots 2 was honestly pretty fantastic
I love how gray has been playing the whole series and how most of them subtlety tell you to not rely on visuals and proceeded to rely solely on visuals for acrobat

protio: if you can and arent currently, most modern emulators have support for vulkan. without theres generally more input delay on emulated games like rhythm heaven for some reason iirc though i might be real stupid in these thoughts

i had some issues with the challenge mode when i played it, i actually encountered a bug where inputs werent being read correctly. it fixed after i restarted the game, but it was very confusing in the moment.
also i have to give the mid prequels credit for one thing, it let me get a 100 on rhythm rally prequel fairly easily...
you've probably heard this before, but save files from the us version of rhythm heaven fever still work just fine in the japanese version. you don't need to download a full complete save or anything (although if i'm wrong, those are still easy to find)
