- Justin Marshall is in South Africa and joined the boys for this week's episode of Final Whistle Presents Side Entry. We put him and Victor together to remninisce about the 2004 Test match which saw Marius Joubert score a hat-trick.
Always tune into Justin on any show. What an icon and ambassador of the game, his hand always outstretched in friendship. Love the guy.
Love how Justin clicks with and works with the Saffas 😂
I always live Justen Marshall. JK Can learn alot from him
ditto for Mark Keohane - SA's Kirwan
This team was special!
Justin Marshall's last test against South Africa. He retired from NZ Rugby right after the following year's British Lions series and right before the Tri Nations.
It must have been Mehrtens last test against the Boks too? At the end of 2004, Henry moved Carter into the first-five position and a new era in AB rugby begun.
I was there .. can’t believe exactly 20 years ago fk!
I’m sure sunsport has lots more footage of Games where the ABs won. Must have took them some time to find a Bok win :-)
Long time ago, focus on beating NZ this weekend. Shambolic record
Love it! I am at Ellis Park for the game… we are seated right behind the Bench so look for us!!! Great channel 🦾🦾 greatest rivalry in sport
Thankyou . Lekker fun
Shot and edited on a Hauwei P10 Lite. Nice one Supersport.
Yho at 34 I'm starting to feel very old 😂
This game was significant because it led to a massive off field culture change in the All Blacks under Graham Henry and Steve Hanson. As a result, players like Marshall and Spencer were never selected again and the All Blacks went on to dominate for over a decade.
With the exception of the 08/09 season where the Boks beat you 4 times, three times on the trot (only team to do that - and all in the same season) . I would say the '09 to '15 All Blacks were the greatest side in the modern era.
@@Karma-qt4ji 09 was South Africa’s year .. Lions victory and the tri nations…
@@Karma-qt4ji Yeah true - the All Blacks went through a bit of a rocky period between 07-09 from when they were famously kicked out of the WC and then having to rebuild after so many players left for overseas. But that 09 Bok side was insane - definitely up there with the greatest teams of all time.
@@WalterWhite-sm2dr I know that. Hence my comment.
Saddest thing about that time is how little credit we were willing to give our coach.
I wonder which team would win if the current Springboks could go back in time and play that team.
58-15 in Durban
How do you make the guest from New zealand sit through clips of his team losing
Lekker riana
this is poor from supersport
What’s so poor about it ? Have u got Down syndrome ?
