I am trying to join two very short cords together, inside my ceiling hung curtain rail, can I join by stitching them together? or can I get the cord out and rethread through the existing circle hooks?
Hi Curious. You could tie a small knot, but only if that join does not need to go through a pulley.Best thing is to replace the cord or remove the cord and operate the curtains by hand. N.B. if the cord is broken or frayed it is usually indicates a problem with the cording anyway. Good Luck.
Simple solution to a very annoying problem. Thank you!
great
