Some people think that once you become a ft van lifer your life suddenly becomes nothing more than travelling the great park ups and Instagram life and fail to realise that most people will still have 'normal' jobs so therefore a similar routine as what they may have had when living in a house...keep up the great content mate 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Kev your van is your home..that makes you a full time Van lifer.. unlike so many click bait UA-camrs who call themselves Van lifers yet own a property and spend only a couple of days a week in their Van if that..whatever you do during the 24hrs of the day makes no difference whatsoever..you don’t have to explain yourself to anyone..

It's full time if you don't have anywhere else to live EXCEPT a van . . .
And what would it matter if you were not full time ?? I have a camper and I am just a weekend warrior, and I am still part of the van-life community, because I enjoy that kind of life - albeit part time 😏😏

Now that you have good weather you need to insulate your van to get it ready for the cold weather

You sound like you're underwater on the radio with a severe lisp.
Have videos about the comments you get, if you want to, but don't let the comments get to you. Life is complicated enough without stressing over what random strangers think.
I think it's fabulous that you've been able to maintain your routine of life while eliminating the cost of rent and utilities!

@@Re-CreatingKev From what I've heard other YTers say, the inexpensive ones are a waste. Go to channels you think have a budget similar to yours and ask what they're using.

@@Re-CreatingKevI think Rode Wireless Go ME is a great microphone. It’s a bit expensive but I think with microphones the cheaper ones don’t work so well (I bought a cheaper microphone before trying Rode and there was a huge difference). It may be worth checking out at some point especially if you do videos driving (I think the audio is great in the videos where there isn’t traffic/road noise even without a microphone).
However, this is a minor point and honestly I didn’t pay attention to it personally. I enjoyed the authentic feel of the sound, like what it would be if I were literally in the car with you!

I think you'd be surprised how many people secretly envy you this extremely bold choice you have made for you personally.
Most of us are on the hamster wheel and only do what is expected of us from society. That is a fact.

@@Re-CreatingKevCONTENT is the main thing Kev,.It can't be stressed enough. The technical gadgets have their place but the technical stuff can be put to one side and is very much secondary. That can come later You can't have a channel if you don't have content.
Channel Vloggers obviously seem to become more "professional" over time and whilst their channel is showing proof of growth.
This is a new, fresh, honest channel and because of that it has a charm. You can see that it's not slick and fake like most of the other channels out there.
You will always get the moaners who get a kick out criticising everything as if they are somehow "experts".That unfortunately goes with the territory as you well kniw. The good Vloggers never try to flip flop to try suit their audience because you can never please everyone...
Always keep it real and fresh. Just be you, Kev, and tell it as you see it and as you experience it. That will be enough for me and, importantly, I believe that would be enough to keep the viewers coming back. Be different, Kev, mate. Build your own niche. 👍

The house i'm currently renting is being sold in October so me and the dog will be moving into my van. I'm sick of paying nearly £1200 a month just to live in a house, most of which i don't use or need. I've been converting my van for about two years now and can live in the van for a quarter of what i'm paying now and hopefully i'll be able to save a few quid.

Yup, van lifer for sure. It's your bed, kitchen, bathroom, sitting room. What you are not (at the moment) is also an adventurer, which is what all those van lifers are who show all the travel vids that so many lust over. You are a van lifer who is living life from a van. Plain and simples! Good comment and spot on answer. YAM xx

Hi Kev, if your living in your van that's your home however many hours you spend in there. I admire you and wish I could drive( I don't )to be able to do what needed to be done under your circumstances and living in the UK like yourself they do not make it easy for van life living here it would be a way out of my situation I find myself in if I did. You are showing us a different perspective on van life but full time van life it is😊thank you and best wishes on this new and exciting chapter in your life.🚛 🍀

Of course you are a full time Van Lifer. this term ''van life'' is open to interpretation is'nt it ? There are the van lifers who post their adventures every 2 mins showing the fabulous locations and what they have had for tea and quite frankly gloss over the realities..........are
they really van lifers ? Possibly ? perhaps not. But hey there are all sorts in between folk like yourself, folk who have discovered the
sheer daftness of having so many possessions and realise there is more to life thanpaying for bricks and sticks. The list is endless. I started looking at van life on you tube in the USA where the social fabric is so different from here in the UK. Van life has caught on in the UK in
various forms and lets just enjoy ''our'' particular brand of vanlife and chat about it.................which you appear to do very well. Crack on
and keep producing your content. Cheers Mike in County Durham

Kevin, it's a bit of a personal question but you are not too old at your current age and we are a long time dead. I know you love your solitude Kev but would some female company be treading on your toes and would it feel like it was impinging on your lifestyle or is that something where you maybe remain open to the possibility in the future if perhaps a lady has a similar outlook ?

Exactly mate , its like they have a unlimited expense account so they can travel , us less fortunate people can only stay in a local area we don't have the money to travel we truly are full-time living in our vehicles whether it be car van or bus 🚌🚐🤭😇
