The best toffees are prepared at home

The homemade toffees have arrived!
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups of sugar
1 large can of evaporated milk
1/3 cup + 1 tablespoon butter
1 Teaspoon vanilla extract
30 grams of crushed peanuts
Preparation
Dissolve the sugar in a saucepan over low heat. Add the milk and mix until the caramel is diluted. Add a third cup of butter and the vanilla. Cook for 30 minutes or until you can see the bottom of the pot. Add the peanuts.
Grease a pyrex with a tablespoon of butter, pour the mixture and let it warm.
With the help of two teaspoons, take portions of the mixture and shape them with your hands. Wrap each portion in parchment paper.
