I met Mr. Landa in Orlando Fla. back in 06 when I worked for HP as a digital press tech, a great down to earth person to talk to He is truly the father of Digital Printing. The presses he has developed now make the current HP digital presses look like dinosaurs.
Landa and hp Indigo are in high technology presses, and they're both awesome. But the important to these are the quality, efficiency, and productivity. Sometimes or Maybe one day an inkjet printer can surpass the quality of these machines and superior in quality.
That is a lot of things that can go wrong. Also price for these presses. Only market for the million dollar companies. I am an offset Pressman. I wouldn't want that responsibility for these robot presses. Soon there will be presses that won't need an operator. No more press jobs in the near future. O well that's technology for you.
