The best way to explain it because I don’t give af and would never watch anybody give a hour long speech but I got this recommended to me and accidentally watched the whole thing. Now, I’m coming back to it so I can listen to him again. It’s crazy 😂
This guy is like a cure for me. Many people say he was was not that great Even I at one point was cynical about him But the more I read and understand about the world today and the man he was I like this man more and more
In 1983 he was predicting what life would be like 30-40 years, and described it perfectly. Imagine what Steve would have devised by now had he not died so young in 2011 at the tender age of 56. His last creation was the tablet in 2010. What has Apple created since? The Watch? AVP? I would argue that the Mx-series ARM processors are their best product, but those processors were the direct result of Jobs buying Palo Alto Semiconductor (a RISC house) in 2008 for a mere $278M.
I miss such compassionate talented speakers these days, they are so rare. Maybe because the others are all just repeating their words. But Steve Jobs was in every word original. - Badrae
Yes I always learn from Steve Jobs speaking video ,when I first see his iPhone introduction I am thinking omg 😮this will change the world.at that time I started to know him . Sad 😢he gone . I miss him . He makes apple because he wants to change the world .not just earn money not like Microsoft tricky and copy
OMG he's talking about google street view map and simulation games like farmville back then.....???? This is so unbelievably incredible how old this technology is...these people literally are the creators of the modern digital age...and we can hear them and see them...we are so unbelievably lucky.
Makes me remember when Jobs told that these tools will be an extension of ourselves. Tools will expand us However the tools and the information discharge of today control us rather than enhance us
Wow this is amazing, he was so good that he can see what the future will look like in 40 years time, and this is 1983; how true that is. Everything he said it is already here in 2024
This video is really amazing and wonderful.Good to see this video about Steve jobs speaking in public speaking is the equivalent of Michael Jackson singing and dancing in entertainment.
Didnt take long for all the PCs to be manufactured overseas. Being the world trade currency and having open capital markets has made our currency to valuable for our manufacturing to be competitive, and forcing the US to run massive deficits buying what everyone else makes
@@kiran-thetributechanneltrue and he had both genius and good looks and he was charismatic af. I didn’t even mean to watch the whole thing and did anyways 😂
Always looking for the source. I admire your enthusiasm, cos there you can drink more from the well. I was in that frame too couple of years back. Always searching for the ultimate source of enlightenment. Till i found that what i was seeking was inside me all through. Open your eyes and your senses, you would see what you are looking for is right in your soul.
Remember privacy was viewed very differently back then. People weren’t such pussies in that time. I mean alone here in germany phone books had not only the name and the telephone number in it, but also the exact address of someone. Open to find for anyone. Name, phone number and address. That was normal. Nothing to worry about. The internet wasn’t a thing yet, so the world was subjectively a lot smaller as it is today. Different times. You can’t compare these thin skinned pussy times of today with more sane times back then.

Great to see and hear Steve in 1983 talking design, and envisioning human/computer interaction in the near future.
Thank you for posting. I've never seen this footage. Steve was truly charismatic and a great speaker.

The fact cobol was obsolete in 1983, and it's still up and running in 2024 is remarkable.
How humble we were when we had nothing! However, almost all of us lose ourselves when we have everything.

The way he speaks is like hypnosis, very relaxing.
Wow. Jobs was 28 yo when he gave this talk….
