- In August of 2021 we found another great AirBnB experience on our travels through Italy. In this video we will show you around Modena, and then we take you along on a Balsamic experience! Where we not only learned how balsamic is made, we actually got to taste it! We hope you enjoy the wonderful tour provided by Sofia Malagoli on this sweaty day up in the attic.

We so ashamed we didn't see this sooner, Debbie and Stijn. Your both looking so tan! Loved exploring this quaint town with you. Lovely church with the leaning tower. Many more in Italy? (obviously were aware of Pisa) I wonder why that is? Lunch looked wonderful! Never knew so much went into making Balsamic vinegar. Love it though and the bloopers. We wouldn't do well with the names either, Debbie. Thanks for bringing us along!
We always love hearing from you both, Dave and Kathy💞 There are also some well known leaning towers in Bologna and even Venice. I'm pretty sure other places as well😊 This video was made in August, worst heat wave in the history of Italy every Italian was saying! So now its January and our tans have faded😂

It was interesting to learn how to make Balsamic and Sophia was great, even told us about her family history on making Balsamic. Yes, Italy this past summer was brutal in the north unusual we were told so hopefully this summer isn't as hot. 🥵

Very beautiful castle
The scenery was amazing and picturesque and that is pretty much my main go-to salad dressing. My second favorite is cucumber dressing. I wonder if they make that there.
We love Balsamic as well and when realized how close we were going to be to Modena, home of Balsamic, we'll we had to go! No cucumber dressing here😁

This is such a cool experience! We love to cook and a class like this is right up our alley-we are in Texas but we have Modena balsamic in our pantry that we used just yesterday!

I would not recommend that Farm. I had reservations there and they never showed up. We went 1 hour out of our way to visit the farm. I contacted her 1/2 hour before we arrived. We were at her gate ringing the bell, texting, and even trying to call. Very rude.
I'm sorry your experience was so different from ours.
