Thank you for this video ❤ can you make a video for off ice doubles? Specifically how to not tilt to one side? ❤❤

Thank you for watching! Could you clarify what you mean by not tilting to one side? Are you referring to staying balanced at takeoff, in the air, or during the landing?

@ mostly in the air, i seem to be okay during the take off but my position in the air gets tilted and i fall on the landing

And is it a realistic goal in my situation to do an axel jump in less than a year if i do two ice skating session per week and 3/4 off ice session?
Thank you for your time 😊

It’s great to have the Axel as a goal! With two skating sessions per week, along with focused off-ice training, progress is definitely possible, but keep in mind that the Axel is a challenging jump that takes time to master. For many skaters, it can take more than a year, especially if you’re working independently.

Hello , i am 21 and i want to start figure skating . I did 5 years of rollerblade and i know how to stop, glide on one feet, swizzle forward and backward slowly. I don't have the financial means yet to afford group lesson or coaches. Do you think i can learn the basics on my own with youtube and asking advixes to figures skaters and then pay for coaches when i progress in more difficult spin or jump?

That’s fantastic! Your rollerblading skills give you a strong foundation for figure skating. Starting with UA-cam tutorials and advice from other skaters is a great approach to learn the basics. Focus on core skills like stroking, crossovers, and basic turns, and when you’re ready for jumps and spins, a coach will help with those advanced moves. Enjoy the journey!
