I had the Fait Tout (pronounced.(FAY TOO) in Provence held in my cart 24 hours while I was on the fence contemplating if this was something I really needed. The next day I noticed it was casually removed from my cart and declared sold out. I ended up ordering a 2.25qt braiser in Soleil which is such a happy vibrant color.
I'm glad you're feeling better now Karen, and congratulations to Maya! I haven't really been too inclined to buy much myself this year either, though I bought several items last year. And I think that's the thing for me. I buy my pots for use, not collecting, Iwell, some for collecting, but they all get used!), and I have enough to cover most circumstances. I really wouldn't mind another 3.5 round wide, but I have one and I have a saueuese, (never use it, use the round wide all the time, they are not the same to me). So then I'd have to do something with the sautuese and well, I just can't be bothered lol. But perhaps you're like me and just have enough? I will say, the only thing I am looking at is the 1 qt DO with the teddy bear knob. I do have a couple (ok, I have four!) of them, but I use them two or three at a time for smaller loaves of bread, and one has a small chip out of it on the rim (it came that way). So I'm tempted to buy another of those - but I have a storage problem too. So I'll probably be sitting this one out. Oh, and they have less choice this year in some models too. I would have bought another shallow round (ue that one a lot too), but they only have it in Marseille I believe, which I already have. So there's that too.
I love that sentiment of "I buy my pots for use, not collecting" I totally agree and feel that same way but just could not find the words to express it. I enjoy cooking and I have all the LC pots that I need at the moment so I really don't need anything. I would like another 6.5 Round wide dutch oven. I use that all the time. The size has been great for cooking down strawberries, blueberries and peaches for jams. I like that you said you have four 1 qt DO, lol!
I think that's me too. I bought my LC pots to replace my 13 year old pots. I use all of the ones that I have purchased. I really don't "need" anything else.

Awwww, I am excited for you!!!!! Ganache is such a lovely deep rich color!!!! I love the big pots for making lots of soups, stews and sauces! Happy Cooking!
Hi Karen, I’m so happy you are feeling better and I hope you didn’t get too hot 🥵 at the farmers market. It is definitely deathly out there. We are at very high altitude here in Colorado. Anyway I really enjoy my Fait Tout. I have it in the Provence and the Cherry. I’m such a hogger, but I use it all the time. Amazing wide and deep enough. I call them up directly at the Denver outlet store. I know they had two purple ones left. They send it to you, shipping was free. ❤ maybe you would get lucky and they will still have one. I’d like to let all of my vegetables blister in there the potatoes came out great also that we made, the small French ones with shallots. Blessings to you.
Awww thank you for thinking of me, I am doing much better, the heat was a bit overwhelming at times but the hubster brought out a huge high powered fan that runs on battery to have behind me at the farmers market. It really helped a lot. This heat is really unprecedented here, it has sadly kept me out of the garden because the temperatures really don't go down that much at night, LOL! On to the Fait Tout......You know you really like something when you have two of them, LOL! I bet the cherry is just gorgeous! I love the vintage looking pieces. I was so sad when I saw that piece was out of stock! but thanks to you I will call our outlet store and see if they have it here tomorrow morning! At this point I'll take any color they have! LOL
Hi Karen. Hope you are feeling better and taking care of yourself in this extreme heat. I am really trying with a no spend July. Luckily, LC doesn't have anything that I am really "dying" to get. I must say that if I were to purchase anything, it would be another Cassadou. Love that pot and reach for it most of the time. Congrats to Maya!

Yes, I like the items but not enough to buy anything at the moment, (I've been buying lots of houseplants though, LOL) I like the cassadou as well. I like that it is like having a larger saucepan!

Happy for Maya! I haven’t been in a buying mode either. I found a small saucepan on Marketplace for $50, and had a seat. lol
