I used to (TRY to) make omelettes a few years ago until my wife banned me from the kitchen for negelectfully leaving a stove burner on. Yesterday she miraculously lifted the ban and suggested I make omelette's for the family! For a refresher on the steps I used to take I went to UA-cam and found your video...and I've got to say it was a GAME CHANGER! Smearing the oil onto the pan with a cloth and THEN adding the butter was a step I'd never done before! My three egg omelettes came out deliciously perfect every time! (In the past, they'd be runny and burnt...) THANK YOU Jono. Breakfast anyone?
2 years on and this is still helping people, just made my 1st omelette and it was amazing. Slightly overdid the sea salt but it was Fantastic.... thank you. Even though your channel is no longer active I hope you get these messages 🍳
Thank you , believe it or not I’ve never made one by the age of 25 but I’m trying to do high protein meals ( made this with loads of Turkey meat) and it came out really well !
I was craving a pastrami and cheese omelet this morning and realized that I suck at cooking them. Watched this video and absolutely nailed it. All this time I never thought to grease the pan ahead of time with oil (I used olive oil) before melting the butter and putting the eggs in. Thank you so much for this video tutorial. It was absolutely delicious.
Thank you I've always been wanting to learn how to make an omelette and I'm still 14 years old. Thank you for the video. Now I can make an omelete in the morning before school starts.
Really nice tutorial I would like to try it too,but about the thing when the omlette it's stick. I can use only oil,or it's necessary to use oil and butter?
I'm 23 and have never made an omelette before 😅 I'm doing an English breakfast and decided to have a change from scrambled and poached. Love this video! Omelette was very tasty 😊
first time making an omelette thanks for the video it turned out ok but i got scared of the fire and had to split the omelette in half because i couldn’t flip it because it was too big 😂 turned out good well idk it wasn’t for me it was for my girlfriend she says it was good tho so thanks
@@simplecookery1372 I'm old school and I love cooking for myself and others.Cast iron/stainless steel/alum/copper/pure ceramic (not coated with ceramic polymers)/real stone are safer, healthier and longer lasting and all can be made non stick at the right temp and pre seasoning. So sorry you need to put up with that man. Bet you wished you just stayed single huh
Is your wife your mom in disguise? Sounds like an emotionally abusive relationship you are in! 😢
Tried this at work. Super easy and extremely tasty. Just take your time and be patient. Thanks guys.

Thanks really easy recipe and delicious
Easy and simple I might try that but I'm definitely going to add a lot more ham you were stingy on yours lol.
❤beautiful video and perfect omelette I love it🙏👌👋
I love these recipes. Congratulations! ❤ ❤
Perfect no talking head no flash
just the demonstration of raw omelette technique
I'm 23 and have never made an omelette before 😅 I'm doing an English breakfast and decided to have a change from scrambled and poached. Love this video! Omelette was very tasty 😊
bruh
Thanks mate! It's delicious!
Thank you
What cheese should I use for this ?
Cheddar
Thank you..
❤ beautiful video I love it👌🙏🙏🙏👋
I add some thickened cream, makes it fluffy
Great idea!
nice addition would be to SEE the flame. HOW HIGH or LOW is the flame? or where is the dial set? makes a big difference.
yeah no vids i ever see tell you how high to set it :(
@@stevenvergonetvery low, 3/10
inside is still raw? Or cook until it’s not liquid?
yom
😀
Is it supposed to be on low or what I messed mine up bad
Fantastic video
This is the word tutorial iv ever watch
Super and simple mm
Egg Taco. This is an egg taco.
How do I make this
You know, ive never seen anyone flip/fold an omelet when its finished before plating like that. Ill give it a try
I gotta make something for hospitality and I chose omelette, so I searched UA-cam and got this, thanks 👍
That was beautiful
What level of heat is recommended? I tried medium and the egg cooks too fast
Try in between medium and low.. I made the same mistake yesterday, then tried again this morning and it came out exceptional

Sorry if i sound stupid im 14 , when you say oil do you mean vegetable oil or olive
Just butter is fine and much better. But if you have to use olive oil, slow cook it. Olive oil isnt good for high temperatures.
I wanted to make an omelet because I had left over steak and wanted to use it for breakfast this morning. Well fuckin worth it, thanks man
👍
God dam that omelette was good 100% recommend it
Thanks for this 😀
Crikey.... that was easy 😮😮😮 even a fool like me cant fail with this !!!
Who was the other guy? And, why was he there?
Bat Omerette next!
The inside is not cooked. That is a half cooked omelet
I like to leave it still slightly gooey inside because the egg continues to cook once you take it off the pan.
I find the cheese makes the egg look more gooey than it actually is, that’s why I always end up over cooking mine 🙄
If this is a little basic for ya just add some small chopped onion pieces and tomato.
This video almost made me cry
On what temperature?
Hi, I'm James.
I’m 33…making my very first omelette in the morning…I’ll give an update…wish me well
My problem is I always try to fold it over in the pan.
So is it past midnight for everyone rn
Messed up and made scrambled eggs, good video though 👍
This video is making me depressed I just wanted to know how to make an omelet
Used a napkin in the oil and no mention of low heat. 😮 ntm cook the ham first then add it
I rough the partially cooked eggs up more than that and fold the omelette over the filling to allow it to heat up while omelette still cooking.
its more like a pancake
what heat ?
I'm thinking making a omelette is hard but it's just a quesadilla but instead of a tortilla it's egg
Say no to non stick pans!
Haha why?

Burnt my house down💀
This was very helpful but now my house is on fire and I see no tutorial on it can anybody direct me to a fire hazard video?
Not true. I use a stainless steel All Clad pan for omelettes all the time. Just make sure you add enough butter.
Nice one fellas. Audio sexy as always
Thanks!
I might be 11 but I made an omelette
Yes, but the egg,ham and cheese are not fully cooked when you folded the omelette
It cools the rest of the way while it rests.
Que delicia
I tried this and it sucked cause I'm bad at cooking
You didn't cook the middle!!!!
the ham looks uncooked
I did it better LOLLLLLLLl
