Thank you for collecting the great Looking recreation of the TV show Emergency. I have 3 (Squad and TWO Engines) Plus I got all 5 RESCUE Heavy duty FDNY Rigs. Some of the models, the Real ones were Lost on 9-11. Rescue #4 is at the Hall of Fame in Phoenix Arizona. Donated by FDNY.
Emergency is definitely a favorite of mine alongside Adam-12, despite the fact both shows came out 20+ years before my time. I also have the Station 51 that Code 3 made, but I've yet to actually show it on the channel. At some point I do have plans to put it on one of my tables and make a display based off Station 127 as it was during the production of the show. Code 3 also did a couple other LA County Crown engines that I want to get my hands on still. I'm also trying to find another Squad 51 to make the crushed squad from Survival on Charter 220, but even trucks which are damaged people still want close to $100 for. Got all these projects, but time is in short supply when you've got a full time job and also work UA-cam part time. Someday soon hopefully.
@@irt3rdavenueel172 I have slime ( Green) FDNY Engine #85. The Engine that was in NY Bronx , Station from the great Book by (Dennis Smith) Report From Engine Company #82. I read this book over and over. This was my start in volunteering as an Explorer Scout for a Fire Exploring group in Burien Wa. state, My collection has LOTs of FDNY rigs. My Retired Batt. My chief friend who is Chief Advisor for the Valley Regional Fire Cadet program in WA. State ( longest running Explorer program in US) that I know of, has the Station #51 model. He doesn't have two models though of the SQUAD & the two Engines that were used in the TV show. The second Engine 🚒 when they drove it from factory to Universal Studios, they promote the Paramedic Programs across the US. The rest is History. Will say Miami Florida started a great Paramedic Program before LA County.
Originally Station 51 was supposed to be at Station 106 but the scene would be so bad that they moved to Station 127 instead during the Wedsworth Townsend Act movie while Station 10 was at Station 8
Station 106 looks similar to Station 127, but I can honestly say the environment around 127 looks more fitting. You may already know this, but in the first 2 seasons engine 127 was used as engine 51 when filming at the station, while truck 127 was moved somewhere else and squad 51 took it's spot. Truck 127 still made numerous appearances throughout the series and retained it's number when doing so.
