- Emergency TV Show Equipment and Locations
In this adventure we are at two different locations- first we visit the Los Angeles County Fire Museum. At the museum we not only learn about firefighting equipment but we also see the engines used in the Emergency TV series.
Emergency ran on TV for 122 episodes from January 1972 to May 1977. It’s main stars were Randolph Mantooth, Kevin Tighe, Robert Fuller, Bobby Troup, and Julie London.
The engines and paramedic truck used in the show are on display at the Los Angeles County Fire Museum located at 16400 Bellflower Blvd. in Bellflower California.
The cost to visit the museum is $5 per person.
The hours are Wednesday-Saturday 9am-2pm
Then we visited the actual fire station used in the TV series Emergency. The fire station is a working fire station and we were able to take a tour thanks to the wonderful firemen stationed there. The Fire station is located at 2049 E. 223rd St. in the city of Carson California.
If you visit this fire station be sure to buy some memorabilia as a portion of the money goes towards the fire house.

pretty cool stuff , I loved that show , I watched the show all the time .
It is amazing to see the changes in the emergency response that really were driven off this show. It is really great that the equipment and props are preserved in this museum. Thanks for watching.
Oh how cool Christina was in the show. When we saw the picture it triggered a memory. That museum rocked. How cool the staff was opening the doors so you could see in. Then there's the station. So what they have made the show part of the firehouse's tradition
We will do another soon about her being on the show as that was a tough one to put the information together. The museum and the equipment were awesome to see. The fire station was great and the firemen were all very nice Thanks for watching.
God bless you. Thanks for reacquainting me with my childhood. I have so many great memories of that show and it's inspiration to me. 😊
Hope you enjoyed the video. We thank you so much for watching.
I really loved emergency because of all the actors in the shkow
We agree as the actors were very good. It also made the need for better equipment and technology come to light. Thanks so much for watching.
Squad 51, KMG365. Start an IV with Ringer's Lactate and transport as soon as possible.
It is hilarious to go back and listen to the things they said. Thanks for watching.
Was waiting to see Emergency matchup locations.......bit let down
But still Subscribed
Our second video did have a great match up on the locations that took a lot of time to put together so please make sure you watch that one. Thanks for your comments as commenting helps us to improve on future videos. Thanks so much for watching.
Love the fire service. - new subscriber
Thank you for subscribing. We really enjoy seeing some of these wonderful museums for the people that have served us all so well. Thanks for watching.
When I was a kid, I had an Emergency lunch box with a matching Thermos. I wish I had those today.
Oh if you did have that lunch pail it is worth about $80 dollars...which would not be bad for a $5 investment. We remember those lunch boxes well. Thanks so much for watching.
@@CRJourney20 The nostalgic value would be much more to me than the monetary value. I also had an original Mickey Mouse Watch and original (1st run) Match Box and Hot Wheel cars as well as Tonka Trucks and Tractors. Those Tonka's were built so well back then I could sit on and ride them.
Great photos……..I just wish you would take a few pictures of the apparatus from a little farther away….too close to get a good view of what they look like! Thanks for the video, hope to get there some day.
Thanks so much for your comment as it means a lot to us what people think of the video. Comments help us to improve future videos. The museum is small here and it made it really tough to get pics from far back. They have put a lot of wonderful equipment in a small area. Thank you so much for your comments and for watching.
I have a good feeling that I will be heading down to 127 to drop some serious $$$ on some souvenirs from the show! I never knew they sold anything at the Station, Thank you so much for bringing us along.
When you buy items at the station it goes back to that stations fund. They have some cool stuff but if your collecting the museum really has some cool things. There are things at the museum that are signed by the guys that you can buy. Thanks so much for watching our channel.
Oh My God, Christina was in the show "Emergency", I have been a fan of the show from when the first episode involving getting the Paramedic Program going back in 1972 right up until the show ended when Johnny and Roy became Captains. Christina, you did an outstanding job when you was on the show that is for sure!
It was fun to see the equipment in the museum and to visit the filming sites. Thanks so much for watching.

Do you know I live in southern California so it’s nice to find another channel from this area and get to see different things that I could drive and see myself. Thanks so much for always giving some great tips on places to go and see in Southern California. hugs and kisses from grandma, Sandy, and Debbie, and another great video full of inspiration and great tips of things to see
It is funny how many people don't get out and see some of the things around Southern California. We try to show some different things. Thanks for watching.
