Nice to see Cobb support the FL5. Really like its mac compatibility. Had a Cobb OTS 93 tune on my ecoboost mustang for 20k miles and it was a great map.
I don't know if you will ever consider putting on some coilover on this, but there is a Japanese company call RS-R that makes coilover for FL5 and FK8 that are compatible with factory suspension control. Which could be an interesting option.
I bought an accessport for my 2018 f150 raptor left everything stock with stage 1 tune and it has the transmission tune also which I highly recommend made it almost have a dual clutch transmission feel very smooth shifting compared to stock. My buddy bought one ages ago in high school for his 06 wrx wagon and we were blown away by the witchcraft magic computer
cobb coming into the honda world really makes me consider a honda i know you can get ktuner or hondata but i like cobb was a subaru guy for years
Yay, CARB compliant. I’m in! Now if I could just get Topher to UPS me a couple of gallons of that 93 stuff I’ll be all set. 😊
The Forscan shout out brought back memories of a younger me angrily scanning for new codes every time a light came on in my old Lincoln LS 😅

Nice! Just got an EQT stage 1 for my 2019 GTI 6mt. First car ive decided to tune after 4 other cars. Very excited.

Type R❤
For $700 you would think they could make the device a little more premium.
Are you worried about voiding your powertrain warranty at all?
I mean dude has a UA-cam channel with $780k subscribers. I don't think he worries at all.
He clearly is not. If engine goes boom it's going to be a business tax write-off.😂
he could prob get a 2025 type r for free
Not too worried about it, tune is pretty conservative and the K20C1 is very solid.
Ohhh…she quick!
Can’t wait for the carbon intake!😊
Same, that's going to sound awesome
Favorite Civic!
Enjoying the sound of the car. Trying to recall - have you just removed one of the resonators from the stock exhaust?
I did, the smallest front resonator, matching the Integra Type S
I am from MI too!
LOL. Chris is talking about PCs on a King of the pEedal Dance figure. Lol
Maybe I can't hear it in the video- but did you figure out a way to turn off that annoying "shift alarm" beeping noise when you get to redline??
Oh ya, it's in the settings menu - surprised so many people leave it on.
@TheTopher I have to go find this! I was literally debating selling the car with how annoying it is!
I disabled it day one. I CANNOT stand it.

For 45k, would you recommend I get a 997.1 or an FL5? I’m in Los Angeles and the car will be a one car do it all wonder: trackdays, daily, GVBC
Is that 337 hp at the wheel or at the crank ? Thanks in advance ............ ;-)
How do you find fuel economy when it’s tuned vs stock?
18:38 acceleration with launch control
Cobb tuner is better than using a laptop! I seen STI owners having one!
Does anyone know how this compares to ktuner or hondata? Ive seen cobb before but not really familiar with their products
does this void the warranty?
Of course.
Flat foot shifts. The rental car driving staple.
Hi dude
hey hey!
Does Cobb have it where you can remove rev hang and give the Type R the Type S burbles like the Hondata?
No burble tune, that would have to be custom.
Thx
Have you tried the factory size Falken all season tires ?
Just 265/35r18 sizing
Let’s go!
$700+ for around 35 horsepower?
Power NEVER comes cheap, thats as affordable as it gets honestly.
Its not just the HP. The drivability of it overall is greatly improved. It seems high at first but its totally worth it once you experience it.
Looks like they have a sale right now for $650
$700 to unlock your ECU and give you a tuning software. You don't have to use Cobb's built in maps, you can go custom
