There's no real purpose behind the documentary outside of continuing where the previous one left off. I guess the purpose is to show how much they're leveling up compared to their pre-debut days. The other issue is timing when it comes to releasing this stuff. I dunno if you have reacted to episode 3 just yet but there's a certain scene with a member that people were talking about and there was a whole debate that resurrected the whole singing controversy again when it started to die down. HYBE has a similar issue with their new American/Western girl group Katseye. The group literally had released their debut EP that previous Friday and then they released the documentary of the survival show they were on less than a week later and it brought it a lot of hate for certain members who made the group(also, unlike K-pop documentaries, we don't hold back our feelings in the West, which is what happened here lol). Also, I know it was a coincidence, but the timing of you mentioning NCT in this video, considering what happened today. Looking forward to your thoughts on THAT, yikes!
