I started this show a while ago out of boredom, and by the 3rd episode I was emotionally invested in the story and characters. Halfway through, I couldn't turn it off. You're in for a big surprise. This show exceeded all my expectations
Not sure if you guys have been watching Korean shows before but I think you'd both really like The Glory and Weak Hero Class. Both are really well written with the latter coming out with another season next year.
You should watch this whole show before the season 2 coming up on december 26 so you didn't to catch up thanks for the reaction i watch this during pandemic 2021 years ago and now its time for the season 2 cant wait for that!
If you watch Squid Games, you should also watch Alice in Borderland. While SG is very good on the 'social aspect', the games in AiB are waaaaaay better.

you need to watch alice in borderland, similar style but in my opinion it is better.
