- In this video will be covering the basic installation of a aftermarket led foglight kit for a car or truck. The car getting the work done on is a 2017 Elantra, but should be the same idea for all vehicles.

The white wire is for the remote basically for the switch if you want to put a separate switch that’s what you install so that you can operate the fog lights when it’s on turn it on and off
My car comes with the drl oem but are a poor white. Can i replace just that bulb for another orange? And how you do to make the turn signal light always be on? I will lovely that my turn signal light be on always with a led bulb orange

Did you have to re-adjust your headlights afterwards or did they retain the beam cut off?
I have a 2017 Hyundai Elantra and was looking to install some DRL / Fog lights similar to what was done in this video. Unfortunately, I was having difficulties following where you spliced into in order to allow for the DRL to work in tandem with the Low beam settings on the car. Could you provide another video that shows more detailed and up close pictures of how to properly wire it? Thanks!
I didn’t wire into the low beam I wired into the daytime running lights much better results. I can’t remember what min in video but I show exactly which pins I wired into.

When I start the car, a fog light goes off and it's the same as in the video. Could you explain to me why it turns off when I turn the car on?
Its weird, i followed instructions and my left light works but the right side only flashes for turn signal. No white light. At first i thought i had a bad batch so i had the ebay seller send me another set. Same thing. Iv tried each wire on the plug on the right side. Only one wire lights up the drl orange while the other side will be white..
Do you know how similar this would be for the 2019 model?
Hey, it should be the same idea. If the kit comes with wiring diagram follow that. U just have to test you headlight plug. It’s pins, might be different than one I did.
I have the 2017 Elantra Value Edition, it came with DRL’s but they don’t put out much light at night. Does this kit put out enough light that you could call them fog lights?
There are brighter but not as good as a bulb in a fog light. I’d say these are just to make the car look better. OEM ones are better however and the wiring is much more safer. These after market ones aren’t designed too well in my opinion.
Do you have the diagram for the installation?

white wire connects to the blue wire in the driver's side plug. red wire goes in the fuse box

You can get them on eBay or Amazon, there is 3 different styles, I believe.

Amazon or eBay. Their is better looking ones! I guess there is no better brand since they are all Asain aftermarket custom leds
So would you have to cut the wire to the drl wire? And is it optional to connect the yellow turn signal wire
Yes yellow optional. I connected the red wire to drl pin in the connecter so it runs with it. Or You can connect it to a fuse in box and it turn on when car is on.
How they work at the first time. Is they work When u release the hand brake ?? Cause when i release my hand brake during day time the fog light and the tow yellow light in the head light turn on. Is that right ??
No they will turn on with the lights, for the way I wired them. But u can wire them differently so they turn on as soon as ur car starts.
Where do you put the yellow wire down?

Do you really have to take the bumper off to install these, I ask because I live in a condo and my old neighbors absolutely love it when I'm out front taking my car apart. Every time I even pop my hood I've got people taking pictures and sending them to the board members trying to get me busted for something.
No you don’t, sorry for late reply. I just took it off because it’s easy for me to do. Also lowers the task difficulty.

Where do you put the white wire?
Taped it up and left it aside
In what color wire go the red positive ?
Is the red orange? Blue go to white and blue orange go to yellow?

Look closely in the video I say exactly which wires and pins they tap into :)
Hey brother., I purchased one on ebay but my mechanic is asking for wiring diagram for him to install this on my car. I thought its plug and play
Show him this video, if he doesn’t know how to wire it by him self you have the wrong mechanic.

The wire that connects to the Accessories switch on the ignition
