Nidus main here. 2 things: his link does not give extra damage, he gives extra strength to allies. And second: he is fine up to lvl 1000 SP, but then he will get one shot even with linked enemy. He is fine, but he is definitely not unkillable in high level sp
I feel like rolling guard is great on builds that is not health tanks. Or really need the status cleanse. But tbh, if you are afraid of bad status you can run Wyrm :)
Kullervo doesnt get shields. He does use overguard however, to such a degree that if you're health tanking with a built Kullervo, you're doing him wrong lol, so really the only 2 pure health tank frames are Nidus and Inaros. that said, my dude, if at the VERY START of a SP mission you're nearly dying already, you should NOT be using the augment that puts your CTRL+Z death on a cooldown. that seems pretty immediately apparent so I'm not sure why you didnt address and rethink that.
Not the best example, agreed. I was a bit tired when recording the steel path run. In prior cases it hasn't done me wrong but thank you for the insight on kullervo.
I understand why augur secrets is there, and the build you have is similar to mine. I(4 forma, archon) went with: physique(forma), power drift, prime continuity, hunter adrenaline(forma), larva burst, adaptation, umbra set( 2 umbra forma) , arcane avenger, arcane guardian. Archons are one blue(energy max), two red(ability strength), one yellow(cast speed). Subsumed tharros strike over parasitic link(I don’t like it). You have a budget friendly build that performs just as good as mine. Good stuff, subbed.
155% is perfect. Strength on Nidus mostly affects his 3 and 4. For his 3, damage increase and redirection. For his 4, maggot damage and heal rate. His 1 and 4 scale with stacks but it's additive.
Is he good for solo play and new players ? Like if I got him and played him through the game would I be fine or are there better frames for new solo players ?
in a sense getting him early/mid Star chart is ideal. I learned he's got a learning curve. by time u unlovk steel path u be ready to consume the world! lol so get him early but don't give up. cuz other frame s easier😊.(recognize limitations tho) im at level 20 frustrating moments. but that's how we learn
Title: Unkillable Nidus The build: Immortality on cooldown for no reason, ability duration with no useful ability that benefits from it, no rolling guard, no damage reduction subsume, worthless aura, no crit chance augment, useless energize on a frame that not only recovers energy but is also a health tank. At least you managed to put adaptation in there somehow. Not only is there no good reason to play this build outside of survivability, it's also terrible for tanking as well. Not that it matters anyway, the new eximus makes being tanky completely worthless. It's all shield gating, invisibility and operator spam from now on.
Augment is optional, I use it for more stacks i.e. more damage and armor scaling. Ability duration is for his 3 and for which can be subsumed for other offensive abilities like roar or nourish. I put energize in there because there will be times that I run out of energy due to lackluster 2 placement. Rolling guard is a preference mod. He doesn't really need a dr subsume, and Growing power is for more power strength which can be swapped for steel charge. Very fun modular frame and viable in most all content. Everyone has there preferences.
Instead of just dragging someone down you should propose improvements. For example; "You should try replacing Umbral Vitality with Parasitic Vitality. Since you have 300 Mutatuions stacks and 209 power strength that works out to around a 2884% Health Increase. Thus making it vastly superior to Umbral Vitality. Additionally, Mutation Stacks do not effect armor or damage reduction in any way."
@beeco711 Just because I wrote it using an exaggerated unfiltered style and didn't make it extra obvious, doesn't mean I didn't do exactly that. Everything I put in 'The build:' section consists of suggestions. 1. Since I'm not using these 200 extra stacks for anything, I might not need to have a cooldown on undying after all. 2. Spending a mod slot on duration for the benefit of just 1 ability and only for the sake of convenience might not be the best use of my very limited resources. 3. I might want to put invincibility somewhere in 'unkillable' build. 4. It's a wild idea I know, but hear me out. Damage reduction might just be good on a tanking build. 5. One more unstackable short duration buff with a miserable str increase is the best option for my long run oriented tank. 6. The amount of options we have available for survivability already lower the value of tanking focused and pure tank builds, combined with how good teeming virulence is makes it unwise to ommit it from most nidus builds. 7. If only there were other ways of getting lots of energy with a health tanking, endlessly regenerating, energy refunding warframe, I'd have a free arcane slot right now. A slot I could maybe fill with something more interesting like avenger, reaper, efficiency, augmented, fury... (Basically anything other than the energy I don't need) The build is quite all right for low lvl steel path and nothing about it actually that bad. I'm still not okay with the clickbait, though.

1 minute into the video "nidus' 2 groups enemies in this mass of hentai" shut up and take my subscribe best ability explanation ever
Haha
LITEARLLY MY THOUGHTS EXACTLY. Hahaha.
No rolling guard FINALLY !! Thank you !
No problem
I feel like rolling guard is great on builds that is not health tanks. Or really need the status cleanse. But tbh, if you are afraid of bad status you can run Wyrm :)
@@UnknownRexyea but nidus just doesn't need it since he easily builds stacks to keep him alive
if you want to try something else, give parasatic vitality a try with adaptation
This would be two forma for a non prime nidus because he doesnt have that - polarity at the bottom left
That DMC music in the background 🗣️

I feel like this video was made in the 4th dimension
Nice Video! Thanks for the build :D

Personally id swap abundant and umbral vitality to maybe hunters adrenaline and definitely parasitic vitality
Nidus's kit doesn't take that much energy and parasitic is meh you already have the mutations so it's kind of ok for base steel path
Would recommend Arcane Battery instead of Energize. With his armor you’ll get so much energy you’ll be spamming nonstop
Good idea. I made this before the BotB event.
"it's not that expensive"
Me seeing both arcane grace and energize : cries in poor
Didnt bother with the BotB event? youd have had both at max by now if you did.
is ability strength matters for Stacks ? get speed or ...is it even good with 155% strength ? basically how much strength on Nidus is most best to go
155% is perfect. Strength on Nidus mostly affects his 3 and 4. For his 3, damage increase and redirection. For his 4, maggot damage and heal rate. His 1 and 4 scale with stacks but it's additive.
I tried Void Cascade...I got one shot by enemies over level 1900. So its hard to stay alive even with this build. Any suggestions ?
You can try abundant mutation with parasitic vit, and replace arcane energize with blessing or battery.
Ik im a month late but what’s the build on ur torid
Crit with heat and viral.
@@DerangedScholar thanks 🙏
Hey bro, should i put some augments for him?
Yes, His vitality augment is a great pair with this build
is that devil trigger playing in the background?
Devil May Cry 5 - Devil Trigger (Tropical Devil Night Remix)
is this build the same if i don't have arcane grace?
Less potent healing unless you use your 4, but yes
Is he good for solo play and new players ? Like if I got him and played him through the game would I be fine or are there better frames for new solo players ?
Not really, You'd be better off sticking with the first three and Rhino if you're BRAND NEW.

im at level 20 frustrating moments. but that's how we learn
what about the archon shards for him
@@deathspade187 whatever you so choose. Strength and duration are great choices but it’s entirely up to preference
