I love how there's a rule in the Warframe community about the Bubonico. We don't talk about how good the weapon is. If we talk about it, DE will hear us, and we'll lose the best weapon in the game.
with the cosmetics of nidus i would love if the mutation had a different set of customisations to the un-mutated form, i love the idea of making the mutation look like the infestation is overtaking a normal warframe.
@@snarkknight511 no i mean how with nidus prime the infestation grows over the whole body rather than just parts opening up, but the colour of the mutation is controlled by the 2nd and 3rd colours of the warframe, which means that if you make Nidus prime looklike a regular warframe his mutation looks dumb.

Nidus for me is simultaneously boring and fun as heck to play. 1. Grab enemies and throw tentacles at them repeatedly...over and over ...and over.. 2. It just so happens to be INCREDIBLY SATISFYING TO DO OVER AND OVER AND OVER
i didnt even know they nerfed dissipate. i was playing as ivara and was like "i need energy." i popped out to sneak in some dissipate from maybe 3 enemies and when ivara picked them up i just got 40-ish energy. i thought i was just crazy and eventually i watched this and was like, "well goddamit"

We shouldnt just make do with them nerfing good things and just accept it, we play the game, they dont. Their attitude of "nerf it to irrelevance!" needs to end. They didnt run it by the community to see if its what we wanted, they just did it and said "Fuck you" to everyone. Zenurik or no energy.
Personally, i'd drop augur and add blind rage and drop the aug for rage or hunter, then you can drop the arcane energize and add whatever your heart desires in that spot instead.
0:45 Nidus worth 2 or 3 umbral forma if you like him a lot. He is very powerful and adaptable and accomplishes issues you run into. In missions where you are moving though it fast, helminthing infested mobility on the 3 fits the theme and works well for how much strength you build into. Lich runs, relics, etc he's quite slow going through it so you're not going to using the 3 since you're not sitting in a spot postin up. 4:00 the dissipate criticism, I think the intention was it to be good in certain situations and not just be a blanket "better energize". I don't think they wanted it to be so good that everything in slot is completely outclassed. There needs to be give and takes when you slot something in over another. You low key answered your own question on why it was put into the state its in currently. 5:30 abundant mutation can get you killed in SP however it will have you 1 shotting kuva fortress grineer 1 hour in which is incredible for just one ability. I'd go with insatiable because the bubonico holds the hell up 7:00 incredible and very accessible weapon. Requires a shit ton of investment to get it to where it wants to be but when you get it there its best in slot. DE balanced it by simply making it ugly. 9:50 more edgelord dethmetal please haha Great vid :)
Dissipate wasnt best in slot, just a third option between zenurik and energize that had its own clear drawbacks compared to both of them (one less operator arcane slot, requires enemies, risky for squishy frames to stop everything to spam energy for a few seconds). DE decided that too many people used it so now its back to energize or zenurik.
I will say as someone who loves overkill and nitus...I love the primed sure footed and I love his other augment that gives him critical chance for his primary weapon. It's super fun and makes him really good weapons platform. Not like he wasn't already but ya. Lol put almost any primary in his hands and it just slaps hard with it. Ty for the fun video Brozime. Always a good time. ^_^
@@argonianguy6226 you can use a kuva seer(or bubonico) to prime them with corrosive and viral and last ez for 2h with 100stacks..... Probably even longer
If you do not have reliable way to get energy, I can highly recommend Rage or Hunter Adrenaline on Nidus (replacing Augur Secrets in the build above). Also, of note: his 1 can be recast faster, if you aim it at a wall just behind the enemies you're hitting. This allows you to spam his 1 faster, building stacks faster, and increasing his DPS.
Hey hi, just wanna say thanks for this guide. It is awesome its so effective, that the problem i have is that outside SP ots super hard to stack mutations because this build is so well balanced. It kills enemies with one shot of virulence. Love it thanks.
I found an all around comfey version of this build that works anywhere without changing mods. Abundant mutation, umbral vit, umbral fiber, umbral intensify, stretch, augur reach, hunter adrenaline, cunning drift. Arcane grace, molt augmented helminth tharros strike on the 4. You can also add some energy max shards, but it almost never needed.

Personally I don't run Primed Continuity. I prefer less duration on my Nidus, as it helps with bad Larva pulls when enemies get stuck on Terrain and prevent you from recasting Larva.
Agreed. Even after Larva wears off, there's like 3 seconds before the enemies are up and moving again, and like you said a low duration makes bad larvas less annoying.
ive been having a good time using tharros strike over parasitic link, the loss of the DR is bad but unless doing endurance SP you will be fine, and the 100% defense strip on command and you will want PSF on that exilus slot plus it heals with each hit so acts as a panic heal button
Honestly u can dump efficiency on nidus. Just throw in primed flow and another energy mod such as equilibrium or my personal fav hunter adrenaline and maybe arcane energize and u chilling. I can honestly just get away with only primed flow tbh
FYI if you use helminth pet the pet then use the full strain mod set it makes it even crazier stronger, as well as get rid of glaive for melee and use pathocyst, i know many say the dmg on that is bad, but its passive spawns maggots, so which is what to go for anyways, and with the full strain mod set 1 on nidus and others on the helminth pet, you get unlimited healing returns and the pathocyst weapon on top of the pet with strain also makes tons of maggots to eat enemies and heal you up. you will basically have 30+ maggots around you all the time healing / dmg / stunning enemies around you full time. the helmith with the strain mods set spawns extras off the pet and with pathocyst weapon melee everything and stack em up for your main kill skills dmg

Nidus gets a slight benefit from using larvae, ensnare does basically the same thing as larvae without the minor benefit and airburst is slightly inferior than larvae. There's really no reason to use anything other than the base kit on nidus
I think you could tune that one a bit more by replacing Augur Secrets with Amar's Hatred (Armor and Strength, what's not to love for him?). After that you could try to lean on the Amar set meme and give him Amar's Anguish in the exilus, and give him Carnis Carapace instead of abundant mutation for some cool heavy attack synergy. Or just go with Power Drift for max power, but what's the fun in that?
Just wanna say Brozime and I see Warframes quite similarly, like how to mod or certain play styles. But Brozime just has a lot more experience and tools/resources to min max things, and I learn things from him that way.

1.5 seconds isn't that bad. The dissipate nerf is still fine, honestly. If you have a large amount of enemies it gives a ton of energy, if there's only a few you can still get a ton of energy. Just time your dissipate shots. Spamming it super fast made it way too strong and full replaced energize, which would kill energize price and use. Now it carves it's own niche as a sidegrade that takes using your brain to use.
Thank god i didn't farm dissipate, lmao. Classic DE, release something broken then ruin it after everyone and their mom spend a WE of free time farming it.
Damn was hoping brozime would understand the dissipate nerf, I definitely wouldn't call them horrid. But in all honesty, an arcane that only requires a moderate farm never should've been strong enough to replace a legendary arcane and most of the reason to use an entire focus school at the same time to begin with. it should be what it is now, supplemental to those or a slightly less efficient option if you don't as much energy as those provide. But the focus school and energize should absolutely be the go to choice for high energy requirements. Dissipate is still a decent source of energy and can be swapped out with either in most builds. now we have 3 decent options for energy which allows more build variety without making energize/zenurik the wrong choice. I've been using dissipate almost since release and I'm still using it it's completely viable still. it's a good change and whenever I hear people complaining about it it just sounds like "OmfG THeY REmoVeD mY inFIniTe EnErgY ButTOn".
It's actual ass now, they gutted it. They didn't need to kneecap it this badly. And can we talk about how energy economy in general is bullshit and it's absolute misery to play most frames without either zenurik or energize which is a *legendary arcane?* So having something newish players could get to actually use their abilities without having to sit in zenurik or crafting energy pads was really nice. I'd rather they half the energy each mote gives and do what the did to it. With how much it sucks to use it now they should at least bump up the amount of energy motes give to like 20 for it to be in any way a substitute for energize or zenurik. It's so bad rn, it makes dethcube's energy generation mod look good. If you think it's decent you're on some heavy copium.
"OmfG THeY REmoVeD mY inFIniTe EnErgY ButTOn". it's still completely usable, if you use it right it's still going to outperform energy pads unless your spamming them which is resource intensive and can't be done on steel path it takes 7.5 seconds per pulse of a pad, so 2 pulses in 7.5= 200. Even with just 4 enemies you're able to proc dissipate 6 times on them in the same time frame giving you 240 energy, also leaving 2.5 seconds to collect before they start to Despawn. Hell with just 4 enemies you can still almost outperform energize with it's 15 second cool down with a tiny bit of effort barring operator energy running out but we are talking only a few enemies. New players should have something "weaker" than than people who ground out plat/eidelons for energize and the focus to upgrade zenurik, it's called progression. And the general energy economy is better than ever with eximus guaranteeing energy drops now and nerf to magnetic procs.
Except Zenurik doesn't work on channels e.g. Valkyr 4/Nyx 4 where u needed dissipate the most. It's not like Dissipate was ever really needed on frames such as wukong/nezha who are already meta anyways. It only helped the frames that don't really see much use due to their terrible energy economies.
wasn't saying that I suffered therefore others should, I'm just saying energize and zenurik should still have a purpose. Dissipate was so strong it could fill even the highest energy pools in a matter of a couple seconds making any other form of energy generation completely pointless, look at brozimes valk build vid, With dissipate she's able to be completely invincible 100% of the time which is really strong. You could probably still maintain that with proper dissipate usage it still effects channeling abilities it's just not infinite energy anymore.

Personally I love doing a harrow-esk nidus with teeming virulence , arcane avenger and combat displine. Red-crit everything and unkillable
I'd say that setup is better for endurance because you can easily stay for 40 minutes with combination of primer+300 stacks. But then he'll fall off

I think hunter's adrenaline is all the energy economy you need on Nidus, like, ever.

it takes 7.5 seconds per pulse of a pad, so 2 pulses in 7.5= 200. Even with just 4 enemies you're able to proc dissipate 6 times on them in the same time frame giving you 240 energy, also leaving 2.5 seconds to collect before they start to Despawn. Hell with just 4 enemies you can still almost outperform energize with it's 15 second cool down with a tiny bit of effort barring operator energy running out but we are talking only a few enemies. New players should have something "weaker" than than people who ground out plat/eidelons for energize and the focus to upgrade zenurik, it's called progression. And the general energy economy is better than ever with eximus guaranteeing energy drops now and nerf to magnetic procs.
Except Zenurik doesn't work on channels e.g. Valkyr 4/Nyx 4 where u needed dissipate the most. It's not like Dissipate was ever really needed on frames such as wukong/nezha who are already meta anyways. It only helped the frames that don't really see much use due to their terrible energy economies.
and the logic of "I had to suffer through a awful grind for Eidolons so all new players should suffer as well" is also terrible.
wasn't saying that I suffered therefore others should, I'm just saying energize and zenurik should still have a purpose. Dissipate was so strong it could fill even the highest energy pools in a matter of a couple seconds making any other form of energy generation completely pointless, look at brozimes valk build vid, With dissipate she's able to be completely invincible 100% of the time which is really strong. You could probably still maintain that with proper dissipate usage it still effects channeling abilities it's just not infinite energy anymore.
