Colorado State Patrol - Honoring A Legacy

The Colorado State Patrol is honoring the legacy of fallen officers by making significant changes to the way it does business. Changes include more visible uniforms, lighting on vehicles and using more drones during car crash investigations -- all in an effort to keep officers safe. The changes came after a year-long, outside review of current policies and practices, following a series of trooper deaths. The current goal is to eliminate struck-by incidents.
